#2 Enermax - Because who doesnt love Enermax amirite? Great PSUs but more often then not rather pricey

#3 Antec - Cuz they are stronk PSUs. great value for money aswell especially around the 550-650w range.

RMx are based on the RMi, while missing some features to make it slightly cheaper :
- a 135mm rifle-bearing spinner instead of a 140mm fluid-bearing found in the RMi.

They're back with CWT. The 1st gen RM series were Chicony made, the 2nd gen are CWT, and know RMx back with CWT again.
And AFAIK it's been a long time since Corsair uses Seasonic as OEM for their new series, the last Seasonic unit were AX units (AX760 & AX860) from a long time ago (2012 if I remember correctly).

Now most of their high end units are built by either CWT (RM, RMi, RMx, HXi) or Flextronics (AXi).

I have an RM750 PSU and i feel it gets preety hot till the fan starts spinning, maybe RMx fan will start earlyer.

I agree except for Antec, they're nice PSU's sure... yet my experience with their PSU's has been horrible. Out of 10 PSU's I've deployed in the last 3 years from them, all but 2 have failed. The most recent was a private customer, it fried their MB too. I find it hard to recommend Antec when other PSU brands like EVGA provide a great value and have proven far more reliable in the field for me in recent years. I don't think Antec PSU quality matches what it was even 5 years ago sadly.

All brand have good and bad...but in my experience Antec has been especially bad.

Corsair has been excellent...I've had one fail out of dozens of deployments. My now quite old HX750 is still running like a boss in my main rig. I like these new PSU's and will likely go with one of these should my HX ever give up the smoke.

I was looking to buy a 1000i corsair too, glad to know I'd be choosing something good, without knowing that I knew that ahead of time, or didnt.

Having owned multiple HX PSUs and built many a machine for other people using them. No.......

the HX line is only rated at 80 PLUS SILVER certification. These RM's should be a bit more power efficient.

Don't forget superflower, which i put under seasonic (evga g2's based on superflower's leadex gold)

Edit: Also i agree with Kursah , i wouldn't get antec power supply's , i believe seasonic is the best because most of it if not all of their power supply's are top notch, enermax can deliver that but at higher cost's , ofcourse there are other brands/manuf like superflower(leadex), be quiet's high end(p10 i think), evga's g2's or corsairs hx-ax, xfx(especially black line or XTR , based on seasonic almost all of their PSU's) etc. that are worth looking.
