Would be glad to see such setup, but with GTX950. And, as said above, the major concern is the build quality.

(wish they would provide dedicated GPU on/off hardware switch - much like the one in lenovo y570. It was the best thing ever - set the GPU always for max power, keep it turned off and switch it on only when You need it)

I'm probably in the minority but when I buy a laptop for gaming being thin and light weight isn't a priority because it usually means a smaller battery too and less time gaming before needing to recharge.

Nah, I just think theres more types of people.

I really like the option to be able to game on my laptop, but portability is more important, since I travel a lot.
And use my laptop for work.

But theres also you that (as I believe) are a more HC gamer, and the I get your point.

I don't know why there is such negativity in the comments. This looks like a really nice laptop. I don't think that Origin are known for bad quality products or anything and a "gaming" laptop can be used for more than gaming. Anyone one that wants a true laptop and also needs a decent video card could use this. I don't know about the battery life though, that might be a problem.

I have a month old gaming laptop. Sure its expensive and that amount of money I could build a more powerful deskptop. But nothings beats the portability of this gaming laptops. as for heat during gaming, why would you put in your laptop during gaming? I'd rather put in in table and sit comfortably.

Getting back to topic above, the layout reminds me of the MSI GS70 series.

Power button is in the same location and size is almost exactly same

Because it's so flat it just must have poor cooling to cool down this high end hardware, thats why I say it's a toaster.

Exactly, the same is with me. For major gaming i have a PC, but it would be really nice to have a portable laptop (full keyboard is a necessity) that can handle some games, but is mainly used for work.

Nice spec! Now if they have Dell's near-borderless display, then it would be perfect. One can only dream. :p

This should be at least $2000 I'm assuming?
