Cooler Master Announces MasterGel Maker Thermal Compound

Cooler Master, a leading manufacturer of desktop components and peripherals, today announced the MasterGel Maker, a thermal compound containing non-abrasive nanodiamond particles packed with an ultra-high conductivity of 11 W/m.k. The excellent viscosity makes spreading or removing easy without cracking or drying out the compound.

"Enthusiasts and overclockers need a product that will help deliver the best performance with the lowest electrical conductivity within a short span of time. The MasterGel Maker fills that need," said Ron Classen, Product Manager. "It has fewer additives, which also makes it extremely lightweight and easy to spread, allowing users to apply it without much difficulty."

Developed for users needing the best thermal conductivity for high performance CPUs, GPUs or even chipsets. The non-curing time and resistance to electrical current help prevent short circuits and provide protection and performance for long-term use. Pricing & Availability:

wasn't there a controversy on this forum itself with regards to a thermal compound made using ground up diamonds? lets hope this CM compounds doesnt cause the same uproar.

The the thermal conductivity on paper looks huge... Noctua NT-H1 doesn't post theirs... will see the tests with pleasure.

I wonder how this one stacks up against Arctic Cooling MX-4. I might switch to MasterGel if it proves to be better.

also ULTRA HIGH conductivity of 11 and 9.90$ for 4g?... please ... come again both Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut and Kryonaut i have, pack more cost less and are respectively 11.8wm/k and 12.5 wm/k (and no diamonds in it ...well ok the CM will be a bit more easy to find than the Thermal Grizzly...)

i like Cooler Master usually but this time ... nope and triple nope.

the best "easily" obtainable TIM is the Gelid GC-Extreme (above the Mx-4 that i used for so long) i still have a left over for that one but Thermal Grizzly appeared and ... huge success for them

actually the top order is now : Hydronaut-> GC-Extreme->Kryonaut

i wonder where that 11wm/k past will be

And I have been using IC Diamond 7 and 24 since both the releases. I have used the product on both AMD and Intel and not once have I had any ill effects.

i think the issues with icd where limited to some of the early batches they sent out for free and not later retail products.
