MSI proudly presents the upgraded Gaming All-in-One PC: MSI Gaming 24. Equipped with more powerful hardware than its predecessor, this system is capable and ready to run the newest PC games in full glory. The large 24" Full HD display offers an outstanding gaming experience with fast response times for improved gaming performance. I doubt double memory is going to drive impressive 4k in the most demanding games.. haha 2k is pretty good for 24in and would maybe have had some decent performance for your money.

I doubt double memory is going to drive impressive 4k in the most demanding games.. haha 2k is pretty good for 24in and would maybe have had some decent performance for your money.

i quite like the idea of these all in one things but you are pretty much stuck with the original configuration which is a bit limited with 960 graphics.. but at 1080 it would just about do the job.. just..

It's gtx960M, full gm107 chip(gtx750ti). While sure it can run games at FullHD, but not necessary in highest details. 27" versions have gm204 based gtx965M, gtx970M and gtx980M, i would prefer this one have some of them even as an option.

Well...I am not a big fan of these ones with the GTX 950m/960m. I did like the MSI one that showcased one with a full size GPU spot to plug into as that to me sounds like a nice idea. I would also not mind one of these if they at least had an MXM port GPU so they can receive some upgrading. I know these aren't meant for hardcore gaming or the likes, but it would be nice to be able to upgrade these depending on what your doing later on (especially with how CPU's seem to be fine for quite a long time).

Desktop 960 hardly goes over 2gb ram usage before choking. Do 950m/960m really need 4gb other than bragging right? Wouldn't have it been better to use 2gb ram and perhaps reduce the cost a little?

IMO, No. Even a 960m can drive 1080p games at Ultra settings. A lot of today's games easily break 2GB vRAM use at 1080p

Well I think it's because gtx960M and gtx950M are soldered to mainboards, at least I can't find single one mention about mxm gtx960M cards in the interwebs(infact kepler gtx860M was mxm card, alas maxwell gtx860M was soldered). The gtx970M is mxm card.

It must be available as a soldered version as well otherwise you wouldn't get it in such thin/light gaming laptops.

You mean gtx970m? Well gm204 and gm107 are not pin compatible, so you would need to use different mainboard. And I don't think there are soldered laptops with gm204 out there, mxm cards are not that high anyway(I could be wrong though).
