Some people are just so lucky. Jeremy Reimer over at Ars Technica recently was invited to tour Valve HQ in Bellevue, Washington, and comes away with news of Valve's exciting High Dynamic Range rendering technology.

The article goes into some of the finer details of lighting in games and provides for some stunning images of Valves upcoming games. It's a long read, but well worth it especially if you're a fan of Valve and into game development.
