That...and wow! I thought PNY dropped out of the GC game like over a decade ago. My first card was a PNY GeForce 6600GT.

PNY are the primary OEM for Quadro and Tesla cards - Leadtek being the other supplier. Both use PC Partner (Sapphire, Zotac, Inno3D, and Manli's parent company, and manufacturer of AMD's reference cards) to manufacture the cards. Some PNY consumer cards are built by Palit hence their design similarity with those of Palit/Galax/Gainward

Never knew that. I just can't remember the last time I saw a PNY GC. I even checked the reviews here to see if I was that far out of touch. Apparently not too much. PNY reviewed graphics cards on this site = 0.

Anyhow. I wasn't trying to say anything about PNY. I happen to think they make excellent products. Everything I've ever had from them I'd highly recommend. They ought to make more mainstream GCs(with their name on them). I'd buy 'em. I wouldn't buy these 2. Because they're laughably impotent. There needs to be a law against such pitiful cards. But I don't make the laws. I just feel sorry for the folks who end up wasting their money on low end cards. Since the vast majority think they're getting something better than what they get. All the hype like "even Top AAA titles". Bitch please. Neither of these will run an AAA title on even the lowest settings at double digit fps. AND THEY KNOW IT!

Haha! Just read the post above. @Prima.Vera...word! You know that's how it is.

Probably depends where you live. Some brands are fairly region specific - Colorful/Colorfire aren't seen much outside the Far East, PoV is Europe only AFAIK, Palit - even though it is the worlds largest graphics manufacturer- is almost absent in a lot of geographic distribution areas. If you are in the market for a Quadro or Tesla, the odds are much better that it will be a PNY due to having the lions share of the market. PNY has more than twice the number of pro cards listed on Newegg as it does consumer cards.
I even checked the reviews here to see if I was that far out of touch. Apparently not too much. PNY reviewed graphics cards on this site = 0.
That probably has more to do with the geographic distribution area where the cards are sold and the reviewers location more than anything else. Visiontek are a sizable AMD AIB yet I can't see a single one of their cards reviewed by TPU. Colorful is the second largest shipper of graphics cards in the world yet their reviews total three.
Anyhow. I wasn't trying to say anything about PNY. I happen to think they make excellent products. Everything I've ever had from them I'd highly recommend.
I've only ever owned PNY reference designs but my experiences have been good. The one GTX 580 I had of theirs had a stability issue when overclocked, but the company were exceptional in their RMA turnaround considering I'm 12,500 miles from the company service centre.

a stunning fresh look to match its blazing speeds.

Checks picture....NOPE! Not fresh, and not stunning. In fact it looks like they decided to make a boring copy of an MSI Twin Frozr cooler (gen 2 or 3).

I have always thought PNY made great cards, but this just seems a tad on the late side. Oh, and it's NOT a "fresh look."

My old card I got on ebay for a great price was a PNY. It was a XLR8 GTX 780. I sold it here not too long ago, it was a decent card if not too original.
