Error 404? Hopefully that means they've decided not to release this blingy POS.

I miss the days when motherboard prices were dictated by technology features, not useless BS like coloured LEDs and isolated audio and Killer NICs. Some manufacturer is going to make a killing when they release a top-of-the-line chipset board that's ugly as sin, but crammed with features and overclocks like a demon, for less than the price of these pimped-out hunks of junk.

I just hope there is an option to switch off those lights. even with simple white leds or no lights that board will be very good looking.

I really hope those are pulsing to the beat of the music played ;) All MSI needs now is a custom disco theme for the brand and a spinning mirror ball in the next revision of the board. :)

The funny thing is when you've filled your motherboard with components they just block being able to see any of the lights in operation anyway.

Sounds a lot like my old ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 but uglier.

I'd question why they release a new board compatible with three way SLI, when the new 10 series GPU's are only 2 two way capable.

Not sure why you would choose this over the Asus ROG STRIX X99 board which has the OC socket (the MSI doesn't as far as I'm aware, but correct me if I'm wrong), plus Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and a better rep in terms of quality. Also, based on pre-order price the Strix looks to be the same money. Unless you simply MUST have the carbon look, I don't know why you'd opt for the MSI??

They're going to be optimized for 2-way, not restricted to 2-way.

I honestly clicked on the article without seeing the color led picture, driven by the awesome look of the all black motherboard pictures.

Color was always important to people. This just makes it easy to make it any color you want, which is actually amazing. Remember, I doesn't have to look like in that picture, it's RGB... You can make it all red or all orange or whatever color you buy your graphics card, it'll be actually amazing for good looking builds in the future and way easier to color match components. Yes, the future are light colored PCs, now just accept it and move on. You could also turn them off and have a pure low key black build, if you don't like the bling.

For a money they want for already released Carbon whatever not to offer very high quality sound card and going with useless Killer NICs that's just joke on wheels. This will be even more expensive and even more laughable.

Give me a break. I can spend 600$ on board, that's not the problem. Always function over form, always (unless it's red then I stay away, but that's the only exception I make LOL).

MSI has boards with OC sockets. However I can't say if this one does.
