Atleast it's priced reasonably. One of my clients has a gaming pc hooked up to 42" TV, so I think there is decent market for this product.

It looks just like my old gaming board made out of spare shelve piece : also had a glued-on comfy mousepad I snatched from work )). Used it with my Logitech MX5000 for quite some time.
Except mine had bottom guards, so when you sit on a couch you don't have to actually put it on your lap and sweat your balls during the gaming session - it was more like a mini-table.

Yup. I was thinking about this some more and I am thinking that price range you mentioned seems much more palatable.

First time seeing a Scandinavian currency on hardware launch.

Note that the "lapdog" is without a keyboard or mouse, so in essence its a usb 3 hub on a alu plate with a mouse pad on. for 1300 kr thats a bit steep

A bit ?, gotta be kidding lol. This should be sold some were about $40-$50 max lol.

Or else just get a shelf cut to size and a USB hub ( valcro works ) then your current mouse mat.

I would get the price if the device itself was wireless/bluetooth, and either came with the mouse/keyboard or allowed you to plug in a wired mouse/keyboard for wireless use. But this...NO.

I see this has potential for those who play games in the living room. Downside is u still need to hook up both USB3.0 & power adapter to make it work, which loses some points for me unless you dun really mind that.

No you don't. If you connect it to a USB 3 port it pulls all its power from there. You only need the adapter if connecting to a USB 2 port and/or using the included 2-port USB hub.

If you think that $120 is bad - think about all others; the Euro market is paying ~$140; the british ~$160 and the swedish ~$157.....

and all that for a 4.8m usb3 cable and hub, on a plate of painted aluminium and some foam.

Hey guys! So we appreciate y'alls feedback on this. While yes, one can most certainly just build their own for cheaper, but not everyone is willing to. We offer this product fully built for an easy to use and setup out of the box experience.

I will give you that it looks good, and that is important in the living room.

I have one question, how much power does the USB supply? because i know that the K95 RGB for example needs more than the 2.5W that USB 2 supplies but can scrape along on one USB3 port and 3.75 W, seeing as a mouse will draw 100 to 150 mA (0.5 W to 0.75 W) it could be of interest of potential byers if tehy could use their current keyboards and mice on this device.
