InnoVISION Multimedia Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-end hardware components and computer utilities, introduces its new line of Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards. The new flagship will be available in both GamingOC as well as iChiLL editions. Built for future high-end graphics, the GeForce GTX 1080 builds on NVIDIA's new Pascal architecture, where performance reaches unknown territories and provides the user unprecedented performance, power efficiency, and gaming experiences.

The new, and recently introduced, iChiLL X3 and X4 cooling solutions even improve the overall temperature control and come equipped with the Herculez cooling armor. As a result, the Inno3D GTX 1080 products will be capable to run at even higher clocks, fully optimizing the 2560 Cuda cores inside the GPU without losing grip on heat production. "We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in such a short timeframe, allowing an outstanding product to evolve into an epic chapter in the history of graphics" said Ken Ho, CEO at InnoVISION Multimedia Limited. "Especially our iChiLL X3 and X4 cooling solutions will 'blow away' high-end gamers and overclockers."

Noise levels will reduce to a minimum thanks to the new and improved fan blade designs and find the perfect balance between performance, sound and silence. The brand new GTX 1080 series will be on display at the Computex show, held in Taipei, Taiwan on May 31st ~ June 4th.

"I have a great idea, let's add a small whiny fan that'll break after two months to our top-of-the-range card so we can get a bunch of RMA's" was clearly what someone said during the design of that card's cooler...

That fan is cooling the VRM specifically which is not a bad idea (dumping heat from heatpipes on it doesn't really help). It also doesn't look like a typical fart fan either. In worst case scenario, you can just chop it off and call it a day if it breaks down. You'll still have a huge passive heatsink then. iChill does deliver some great temperature results on their existing old lines.

Agreed - I am digging the look of these cards and just because it is a small fan - no idea of the speed, if it will whine or what its MTBF is / life expectancy. Nice work on these.

It looks like a 40mm fan and from my experience they simply don't last. They tend to have crap bearing and as all fans, they collect dust, it's just that they die quicker than larger fans. It's also going to be a pita to clean.

I have to say that I much prefer EVGA's solution where they have a metal plate covering the GPU side of the card which helps cool the VRM's.

Nice card, but I would prefer the one without the small fan.

Gotta say that so far over half of the AIB coolers are ridiculously ugly to me. What happened to the sleek designs of past gen? Especially EVGA... WTF. Their AIO looks okay but the rest, dayum. MSI is so-so, TwinFrozR still looks okay but the rest is also meh. Asus seems to think that bulky is better these days, that new Strix just seems to go back to HD6990 days or something.

Inno3D I've never been able to take seriously. When you end your card names with a Z, I just think the CEO is 14 and really wanted to be black. Herculezzz fo sheezle
