EVGA SLI HB Bridges Pictured

EVGA unveiled a trio of SLI HB (high-bandwidth) bridges to go with its GeForce 10-series graphics cards. Available in 1U (no gap between two 2-slot graphics cards), 2U (1-slot gap between two 2-slot graphics cards), and 3U (2-slot gap between two 2-slot graphics cards), the bridges feature a prominent EVGA glowing logo, with switch-selectable multi-color LED illumination. SLI HB bridges are needed by GeForce 10-series graphics cards for "the best performance" in 4K @ 60 Hz HDR, 4K @ 120 Hz, and 5K, according to NVIDIA.

I did say RGB HB bridges were coming and at a cost.
Would be nice if they were thrown in for free if you bought two cards.

I am all for some decent looking SLI bridges if they keep having SLI need the bridge. Though personally, besides the functionality I am not as big a fan of this one with just an RGB logo. If it was me, I would probably buy two EVGA Classified 1080s and get the MSI HB SLI bridge just to have that dragon logo instead.

But then again, I like weird things.

I prefer SLI's typically lower latency.

AMD's bridgeless crossfire works, but typically has higher latency. It can be tuned to work better then SLI, but AMD doesnt exactly have the money to fund a driver team to keep up with nvidia's bridges, which dont require as much tuning to keep latency down.
