Specs:
CPU: Athlon XP 2500+@3200+ MB: ABIT AN7
VGA Card: ELSA TI4200 Memory: Kingston DDR-PC3200 DUAL in 1GB Hard Drive: Maxtor DiamondMax10 200GB
Monitor: Dell P991 19" Case: unknow ,use aluminum sheet

Mods:
i have modify in hidden dvd in first 5.25 inch bay ,i cut in name of case "signalz".I add big size of VFD 20x4 in front case. I add rpm tachco meter use for cpu load and the last add custem fan control in 3.5" with led light indicator for measure power on fan
in case I change all front with alumimun net with blue led behind a dragon

software in here: VFD 20x4 LCD and Graphic LCD ,i use software form Lcdinfo.com
and CPU Load Meter ,i use software for www.overclocking.dk
and very think for Deep Thought for inspiration in use tachcometer

Signalz: have inspiration from dream hi-tech computer and racing car, in external display on case use for show data or signal form computer

It's a little too complicated for me, I like clean things. However you did an awesome job, and it looks awesome too. Just not my style.

I'll bet money it's wired via USB and just reads off some program or directly off Windows.

I 'm use software to read cpu usage in windows and send command to tacho meter , that can't stand alone and software that form www.overclocking.dk (now, not sure ,him can share that)

u can test and control tacho meter by simulate pulse form serial port, like send string "xxxxxxx" (if you convert to binary it same "00110100110100........................" that like pulse form rpm sensor in engine)

and in hardware ,it's not bulid hardware addon, use only direct wire tx form serial port to pulse in meter :D and wire power +12 volt to meter
