Also in Hong Kong a 1070 is selling around 500$, which is not really a good price or anything like that. I think a RX480 at 300 is far better than a 1070 at 500$ don't you think?
That really is a pointless comparison, these cards are at different price and different performance range.
Someone that is looking for a mainstream card don't suddenly shell out for 200 more,
and neither do someone looking for a Performance/High End card suddenly settles for less.

Benchmark Scores 3050 scores good 15-20% lower than average, despite ASUS's claims that it has uber cooling.
Actually, 1070 is a good buy at 500$ (only 50$ premium) if 480 costs 300$, as it is 1.5 times faster.

So if it would be the same perf/$ as 480, you'd pay 450$ for it.

480 should not cost 300$ though.
