Google is adding an antivirus and anti-spam solution to its arsenal with the acquisition of GreenBorder Technologies Inc. Google did not comment on the story, but GreenBorder, a Mountain View, Calif. -based security company, posted a statement on its Web site, telling users that it has been bought by Google:
GreenBorder Technologies, Inc. has been acquired by Google, Inc. We will continue to support our existing customers through the end of their current subscriptions.
GreenBorder, which was founded in 2001, offers consumer and enterprise-level security products, protecting against viruses, spyware, and Trojans.

Expect their own operating system most likely.

There have been rumours about that before, and I wouldn't put it beyond Google to have a simple OS within the next few years.

Just that currently Google is so big and used by so many people, that support is almost non-existant.

Support for Google is still there. I dont see much from their offerings that arent working too well and that would require extensive support. Ive had nothing but great support from them for a couple of their software offerings.

It would be nice to see a Google OS and hopefully if they do that, they will have great software and driver support. :)
