Thermaltake, a leading brand in producing green power supply unit, today released the latest Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series (850W/1000W/1500W). Thermaltake released the Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W Titanium at CES 2016, and it has been the most discussed power ever since. To provide users more options, Thermaltake has extended the range with the 850W, 1000W, and 1500W. The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series is pre-installed with an ultra-silent 140mm patented RGB fan and manufactured by premium components, the Titanium Series is the most ideal choice for those looking for the perfect balance between PC aesthetics and 4K gaming performance.

To provide unbeatable performance for Virtual Reality, the Titanium Series is equipped with 100% Japanese capacitors which are rated up to 105°C. The fully modular Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series is specially designed with a digital control board, and adopted a 32Bit Microcontroller Unit (MCU) from STMicroelectronics. In addition, the Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series (850W/1000W/1500W) offers a 10 year warranty, ensuring the best power supply quality and top VR experience.

DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0: Smart Power Management Reports
All the data will be summarized into four different types of reports, including the ECO Report, Energy Consumption Report, Energy Saving Plan and Efficiency/Wattage User Behavior Report. The aim of the first two reports is to help users understand the detailed information about CO2 emission and energy consumption of their PSUs by comparing current data with the previous 3 months. Moreover, through the Energy Saving Plan, users can simply save money by setting the goal of how much kWh they plan to consume within a specific period. Lastly, the Efficiency/Wattage User Behavior Report will display the watts consumption and efficiency of each PSU in a dot chart; therefore, users can easily understand the distribution range of their power consumption. Most importantly, the report will be based on the data and recommend suitable power supply wattages to optimize the efficiency.

DPS G Mobile APP 1.0: Warning Alert & PC Off Remote Control
The Real-time warning alert will be sent out from DPS G PC APP 2.0 to the SPM once the fan fails, the temperature is overheated (over 140°F/60°C) or even when the voltage is over/under 5% of the normal voltage level. Meanwhile, the SPM will push the warning message to DPS G Cloud Management and Mobile APP 1.0 immediately to notify the users. Then, users can use PC Off Remote Control function on the mobile app to turn off the computer remotely to minimize any potential damages can be caused by PSU failures. The PC Off Remote Control also allows users to arrange a scheduled shutdown for the system to save energy and electricity cost.

DPS G PC APP 2.0: Smart Zero Fan
Aside from the silent and performance mode, DPS G PC APP 2.0 comes with the new Zero Fan mode to minimize the audible noise of your PC. The fan will be turned on around 30% of rated load to optimize the thermal performance and minimize the audible noise.

The World's First Ultra-Quiet RGB Patented Fan
The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series is built with a patented circular 256 multicolored 140mm fan. The color and brightness uniformity of the LED ring is visible from all directions. Users can even freely adjust the fan speed as well as the fan colors through DPS G PC APP.

Concentrated Compression Fan Blade
The fan blade is designed for high static pressure requirements of demanding applications; the concentrated compression blade is engineered to focus the weaker, inner circle of air outward, allowing the outer section to pressurize the air. The fan blades are optimized to enhance static pressure for an impressive cooling performance. Hydraulic bearings for silent operation guarantee ultra-low noise, and the anti-vibration mounting system strengthens the product's stability during operation. Moreover, In-mold injection anti-vibration rubber pads provide hassle-free usage for 80% protection coverage, including all four corners.

Fully Modular Cable Design
Fully modular power supply offers cable selection for users while powering the system at an advantageous voltage. Individually sleeved cable and flat cable can make cable management easier, reduce clutter and increase airflow inside the chassis.

Digital Control Board
Digital power supplies support high-efficiency switching transistors that perform only necessary steps and waste less energy given off as heat. In short, digital power supplies do not dissipate power, which creates waste, and incorporate smaller, lighter transistors. Using smaller parts that work more efficiently enables Thermaltake to craft smaller and lighter power supplies, typically one of the bulkiest components in any PC.

Core Component: MCU
The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series comes with a 32Bit Microcontroller Unit (MCU) from STMicroelectronics. The 32Bit MCU is a small computer on a single integrated circuit containing a processor core, memory, and programmable input/output peripherals. MCU can digitally control devices and processes, such as automobile engine control systems and office machines.

80 PLUS Titanium-Certified and Skylake-Ready
The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series with DPS G software delivers up to 94% efficiency under real-world load conditions, promising the lowest power losses. Additionally, the Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series has been optimized to work with Intel's new, sixth-generation Skylake processors to achieve maximum energy savings.

TT Power VR Ready
The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series power supplies offer stable and sufficient output voltage for multiple VGA cards and high Capability of different VGA cards for VR system.

100% High Quality Japanese Capacitors
The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series features 100% high quality Japanese brand capacitors, which greatly improves the durability and offers the highest stability and reliability.

Massive and Dedicated +12V Output
The Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium Series is equipped with a powerful single +12V rail. For more information, visit the product pages of the 850W, 1000W, and 1500W variants.

This whole VR thing is getting ridiculous. What the heck has a PSU have to do with VR performance ?

Wow, this is the first new/nonstolen product Thermalfake have released in years :O

Could this herald a return to form? Maybe they actually took note of the community backlash and brand damage lol.

Is there a VR program that allows us to revel in our RGB delights at our feet?
How are we meant to see all those pretty lights with goggles on.

Allow me to translate: "It has come to our attention that Thermaltake are a LOT bigger than us and not only do we lack the ability to sue them for reverse engineering our designs and passing them off as their own, we wouldn't even be able to fight off a fraudulent defamation suit, so we are going to have to issue a fake apology".

Seriously, anyone with one or more eyes knows that Thermalfakes entire 2015 lineup was basically clones and ripoffs. They bought competitors products, reverse engineered them and copied designs then released cheap knock offs. They did it to dozens of companies, all over the globe, fans, cases, waterblocks, etc etc.

That's why it's so refreshing to see them release something that it looks like they have designed themselves.

You're forgetting the huge load of innovations CaseLabs stole/borrowed (howerver you wanna read it) from Lian Li such as motherboard tray slide (100% clone/copy of the Lian Li PC60, a case from 2002).

......thought high quality s.f.f. with decent wattage would be more of a focus than 1k+watt units that people rarely needs. Rainbow cables?
