So there is a tool called Grammarly that I use at work - it checks your grammar and style as you go (think Word grammar check on steroids). It works well for writing clear and concise work, and might be a useful addition for those who apply.

I wasn't here during qubit's tenure but sounds like he would've been fine for editorials, if nothing else. Maybe a case of boundaries not being set?

Alas, this is an interesting position, writing about what we're all enthusiastic about - and seeing it on the front page of TPU, of any tech site!

Even if I'm not The One (going a little heavy on the Matrix there) I hope it's someone who gives us a little deviation on the standard news stories, and goes a little more in-depth in other areas of computing.

it's also good to get constructive input from the readers. What worked/like and what didn't. Our national news is shaded in red and blue, there is no reason for computing news to have an opinion attached to it. To me, it dilutes the content as news isn't an editorial. As we have seen in the past, the the discussion frequently turned into the off base opinion in the first post of the news article.

Sterile like Bt's posts FTW! Facts...and let the readers create their own opinions instead of beating on someone elses take.

Constructive input/criticism is openly welcomed; however, the first sentence in Easy Rhino's post was anything but constructive input and was clearly abusive and antagonizing.

Tangential, but I honestly cannot fathom why people use that function. Well, I can obviously, but it still amazes me. No matter matter how wile I thought a person was (which I never think) I cannot even imagine myself using that function. It's not how life works.

I'm still interested to know at least how much work this will be. Because reasons I can only legally work a few hours a day. I doubt I'll even try for this, but still.
