Sounds like the "motion estimation and motion compensation" some TVs use to produce 120/240Hz frame rates from 60Hz content.
The TV shit results in blurry crap. Games have plenty of blur on their own, guess it'll be less noticeable.
motion interpolation it is. The EIZO with fake 240Hz monitor also uses this
This is garbage. Massive motion blur.
where do you people make this stuff up? any VR warping is basically like video UN-stabilization, it has nothing to do with blur or blending frames together, which is why it uses the word 'warp'

Installed 16.10 shows 16.9.2 :D
Shows as 16.9.2 on my 290X.
FuryX shows as 16.9.2 as well
My Rx 480 shows 16.9.2 as well and I just downloaded from AMDs site
i wish you all look at all of the information on the software screen, the only version that matters is the driver packaging version, which by the way contains a date as part of the string

the catalyst version means NOTHING, it's just a string, it may not get written to the registry on all installations so you might see what your previously installed driver had written (or amd could forget to write the new number)

as you can see in this pic, it has happened many times in the past & you can even rename it if you wanted to

You Sir are confusing the older timewarp with the newer spacewarp.

AMD said:
It works by comparing previously rendered frames to detect motion between them, and using that information to extrapolate the position of scene components in the next frame. This allows re-projected frames to more accurately approximate how they would look if they had been fully rendered.

where are the screenshots? i'm also unclear if devs choose to add this or if the drivers take over games

as for my points, the motion blur one still stands, why would this introduce blur? more frames create more smoothness (actually, motion blur also creates smoothness, try playing 30fps with & without well done motion blur)

You're asking the wrong person. I'm not AMD.

Can you stop quoting me unless you want to discuss something I've posted?

what, you posted a clarification that there are two kinds of warps, making the impression that you MIGHT have read or seen more than the single press/blog release, which is why i asked (in case you happened to have more info or knew of a game)

but now it's a dead end obviously, so...

gee, i said more than the single press/blog release, but that it turns out you unfortunately didnt happen to know more than it at this time, therefore it is you who are not reading with your snarky comment

There is the news article on this site plus the article I linked.....thats two articles. Two single.

If you would have read the link I posted you would have gotten a clear understanding of the differences between them. You should try using a search engine called google.com. Maybe you have heard of it? Anyways you should try it as it works better then asking random people on forums for answers you seek.
