Can't fit full size cards into small form factor builds (when you want a pc that is the size of an xbox one or ps4 but many times more powerful). I pair a gigabyte gtx 1050ti OC 4GB low profile card with a dell optiplex 7010 i7 3770 and over clock the gpu to 1847+ MHz stable at 60c and I can usually pull 80-144 fps (depending on the game) with very high settings (some settings on ultra). I do know that if the card temp is below 57c it sits around 1875 Mhz and if I can get the temps below 51c it runs stable at 1905 Mhz... so a waterblock with such limited space for airflow is actually quite useful for this better than low budget card (considering it has a 14nm die and is extremely overclockable and runs off the pcie bus without an extra rail from the powersupply).
