Thermaltake has added a new, highly-premium, highly-desirable, and ultra-high expensive E-ATX PC Chassis. Named Tower 900, it is a harbinger of Thermaltake's TT Premium line, which, according to the company's own words, "(...) follows its core values of Excellent Quality, Unique Design, Diverse Combinations and Boundless Creativity to provide a high performance PC product for every enthusiast."

Designed in collaboration with Watermod France, The Tower 900 by Thermaltake represents Thermaltake's passion for innovation, the spirit of Watermod France, and its vision to expand chassis design for enthusiasts to build into a new era of ESPORTS modding culture. The Tower 900 is the premium choice from TT Thermaltake, supporting a vertical mounting design, high quality 5mm thick tempered glass panels, and unrivaled expansion capabilities for massive custom liquid cooling systems.

The Tower 900 enables user to freely build the system from the ground-up with given modular panels, racks, brackets, and pre-design mounting arrays. No more unreachable screw corners or gaps, with installation being promised as "a breeze" with Dismantlable Modular Design. The Tower 900 has the capability to deliver excellent cooling efficiency, and enables users to build extreme air/liquid cooling systems with high-end, large graphics cards, treated by DIY/AIO liquid-cooling systems and air-cooling units. Supporting up to dual 560mm liquid cooling radiators, the right side and left side of the case are designed with various mounting points for radiators to provide proper space and placement when building DIY/AIO configurations.

The specifications are as follows:

  • Dimensions (mm) 423 x 483 x 752 (W x D x H)
  • Material Steel, plastic, tempered glass
  • Available colors Black or white
  • Weight 25.5kg
  • Front panel Power, reset, 4 x USB 3.0, stereo, microphone
  • Drive bays 1 x external 5.25", 6 x 3.5in/2.5in, 2 x 2.5in
  • Form factor(s) E-ATX. ATX, micro-ATX, mini-ITX
  • Cooling 4 x 140mm/120mm left side fan mounts (fans not included), 4 x 140mm/120mm right side fan mounts (fans not included), 2 x 140mm/120mm roof fan mounts (2 x 140mm fans included), 2 x 140mm/120mm rear fan mounts (fans not included) 1 x 120mm rear fan mount (fan included), 2 x 140mm/120mm roof fan mounts (fans not included)
  • CPU cooler clearance 260mm
  • Maximum graphics card length 400mm
  • Removable dust filters, USB extension cables

The Tower 900 retails for an eye-watering, wallet-spasm-inducing £239.99 (approximately $298).

That's...........AWESOME :D

I'm tempted to forgive Thermaltake for ripping off their entire 15/16 lineup if it means they spent the profit on R&D and the rest of the 16/17 lineup looks like this :D

This is frigging awesome! It is the best looking case that Tt has EVER developed!

I don't know about the $300USD price tag, though.

Also, the weight is crazy at 25.5 KG or about 56 LBS.

I thought Tt finally developed an original case, then i've seen the (co) next to it.

Oh well... its Tt's first original design in quite a while technically anyway

its interesting that many people judges a brand just for a couple of doubtful things, i have been using this brand for several years, and yes i can be considered as a fanboy of them but they always have came up with a great product lineup, they feature several cases, trying to cover all steps, consumer grade, business grade and enthusiast grade or gaming / mod grade,

the story behind the case: was developed inspired on a Tt case mod from their challenge...!

i love Level 10 design lineup for example, looking forward a new headset cause the lineup its too hot, i own mouse and always wanted the case but my wallet is not able to do it for me! but im glad that i have been using the brand and having great time with products, also have had plenty of their mid towers...

PD: what a beautiful avatar you have my friend, doggy high5 for ya :toast:

I agree with their quality @peche . Back in the early 2000's, I used to review many many of their products for a couple of hardware tech sites. I reviewed several of their enthusiast socket A coolers, fan controllers, keyboards/mice, and a few of their enclosures.

I still have one of their V6000 cases:

About 5 or 6 years ago I had that case powder coated for an old modded system I did. Heck, it might have been 8 years ago now.

Of course, back when that case was newish, 92mm fans were the "big" fans.

Nice.

Now, if it was aluminum rather than steel, I could see buying one.

My current chassis, a Tt Xaser VI (VG4000SNA) retailed for over $300US when it was released.

TT has really gotten away from not being innovating. Just clone or copies, without any own idea.
I was one who fought against TT in hopes they will learn.

Today, this is completely different. I see this and I am blown away on what Tower 900 can do.
Bravo TT for a great case.

This is absolutely MAHOOSIVE! I can't actually believe how big this thing is!! 750cm!! If it were aluminium that would be amazing, but it would also cost x3 the price if so.

O.M.F.G.......

Finally something different and with a somewhat unique styling to go with it...

Don't care who makes it, at least it is an honest attempt to move away from the same old boring, repeatedly ho-hum beige boxen yesteryear clone which is the same as everyone else but with a different name tag...

Don't care about the weight either, but I would also like to see a cnc-machined aluminum version of this too...although I realize that would probable double or triple the price tag, which is already at or near the max limit of what most normal people would consider paying for a case...

so, come tax refund time, this is M*I*N*E... :D

Well, considering that my current case is a 540 Air with a custom accent job and LED lights, this one won't be as drastic of a change as it would be if I had an "everyone-makes-100's-of-these-beige-boxen-cloner thingees"... :shadedshu:
