In Win Intros the X-Frame 2.0 Open Chassis

In Win today introduced the second generation X-Frame open-air chassis. The X-Frame 2.0 was first unveiled at the 2016 Computex expo. It features a tray-type main platform, attached to a swivel base with three feet, and a pivot, along which you can rotate the main platform along two axes, orienting it tall as a tower, or flat, giving you easy access to your hardware. A 1065W In Win SI-1065 PSU comes included. This full-modular PSU has cables for a rig with up to three high-end graphics cards, a triple +12V rail design (75A + 25A + 25A), 92% claimed efficiency, lighting, and a USB power port.

The motherboard tray has room for a standard ATX motherboard, with room for graphics cards and CPU coolers of practically limitless lengths and heights. The tray has two 2.5-inch drive mounts. The compartment below the motherboard tray has additional storage areas, with four 3.5-inch drive bays, and a 5.25-inch bay. The top compartment has a 3x 120 mm radiator mount. Front panel connectivity includes four USB 3.1 ports, of which one is type-C, and HDA audio jacks. The In Win X-Frame 2.0, with the included SI-1065 PSU, is priced at 1,499€ (incl. taxes).

A USB-C port on the front panel, and NO friggin USB 2

Its about time !

Now if only they would make a covered version, with all tempered glass panels all around, that would be great. I know this defeats the intended purpose, however, I like the rest of the design overall, but I like most others here don't wanna be stuck cleaning my rig 24/7....

And that price, ouch.....

Wow, was looking forward to the release of this case when I saw it at Computex to upgrade my Aerocool X-Strike Air.

But 1,500€?!? Seriously? I'll stick to my <100€ case!

After I saw it had no glass or anything overly fancy, I was happy as I thought it wouldn't be very expensive. Turns out I was wrong!

A person can build a test bench platform better than this for $200 or less. Is the "Apple" mentality spreading to the PC market? Seriously, this is a lame hardware mounting kit for the price. If it were in the $350 range that would be more reasonable[I'd personally still make my own]. Waste of money!
