In terms of design - still horrid.
BIOSTAR just don't get it, at all. Don't let the design part come from taiwan, keep it american\european.

"Vivid LED DJ"??? "Racing"??? Seriously, who the hell comes up with this nonsense? I'd love to be a fly on the wall in these meetings where such decisions are made. Utterly ridiculous.

"Hey if kids like it, then we shall make it."
It's not about taste, just rave and garbage. Not a bad thing though, the board itself looks pretty nice.
I think I would try it with a full RGB HTPC just to watch. Maybe also sync the light with controller viberation signals so when we crush cars in-game we can also get a color blast or something.

It's not really any tackier than the other vendors, but I agree, LEDs that I have to forcibly remove are a turn off. "Armor" is a turn off. Starwarsesque heatsinks are a turn off.

I can't wait until enthusiast motherboards are produced with the intention of being put inside of a chassis and not being looked at.

I like the ECO / Sport buttons though, those are cute.
