Cougar has now launched their "Revenger" optical gaming mouse, which features a fine-adjustment 100-12,000DPI ( PMW 3360) optical sensor and a 1,000Hz polling rate and 1ms response time. The Revenger packs six programmable buttons that promise to offer easy access to over 21 different functions. The mouse's internal 512 KB memory will allow you to store up to three different configuration profiles. All of these are managed by Cougar's own software solution, the UIX System.
The Revenger also features the ubiquitous RGB LED backlighting of today, which are dynamic based on the configuration profile you have active at the moment. The two LED zones are located next to the Cougar logo and a three-Stage DPI LED display. Pricing-wise, the Revenger comes in at $60, and should be available from most retailers.
