If you are a gamer a good quality mat can mean all the difference. And besides that it makes no sens spending $ 60 on a mouse and not buying a decent mat unless you plan on doing no gaming what so ever.

If that could give you smooth tracking I don't think that there would be any mouse mat manufacturers

. No point if it was so easy to get good performance!

In my opinion a good mouse mat can really boost your gaming experience becuase both tracking a glide can be optimized with a decent mat. I haven't tried the SX yet, but I'm sure they have done something special to it if they expect people to pay € 50.

i dont know about you, but if im gonna shell out 50 euros for a mere simple mouse pad, it better be a gold-plated and jewel-encrusted one...

cause seriously... i dont care what it does and how it performs, there is no way in hell that 50 euros is anywhere near the concpet of "reasonable price to pay" for something as simple as a mere mouse pad...

What about the $400 mousepad lol? Mine in a cheapo $2 plastic pad with rubbed on the bottom. It says dell. And works great.

Once you try a smooth mouse pad (doesn't have to cost a fortune) that has a low friction, you'll never go back on a cheap plastic one. My Ulti-mat Breathe X1 was just 6e, but it's very smooth cloth and I just love it. Even using techPowerUp! forum is more fun, but if you don't game, you'll propably not need even this.

That pad is not 8 times better, no matter how PRO they market it

It will propably last longer than mine, but I can buy quite many of these for that price

well im using a generic mouse + a normal 95' mouse pad, do you see my ass get kicked by my friends who all got high end mousepads and mouse? No. Skill depends on urself and not really your input equiment (unless the mouse is laggy, etc).

my g7 sits on the bottom lining of a 99 cent re-usable coles shopping bag....best surface ever!!!...looks great next to the dinovo kb.....i never entertained the thought of a boutiqe mousemat....go get the bottom out of a shopping bag for unmatched gluide..

It all depends on what level you are playing on. For most casual gamers a 10€ mouse mat will be good enough same goes for mice.
