I got 90% scaling in every game that supported it? The 1080Ti doubled the performance of the last generation, that's better than the Fury pulled off, so again what on earth are you talking about....Holy smokes dude.

Alright so what do you want me to answer first? LOL

The 1080 Ti is not impressive imo:

97% / 59% = The 1080 Ti is ~65% stronger than the Fury X. WOWWWW!

It's 65% stronger than a 2 year old card. I am not impressed.

The Fury Nitro (That is roughly as strong as a stock Fury X), was $250 for many months. No, i do not think it is worth paying 3x the price for 1.67x the performance. What a joke lol

Why are you comparing a cpu bound chart? Why not compare 720P while you are at it?

LOL ok buddy. Check the recent benches: 1080p removes any instances of running out of VRAM. Even at higher resolutions the 1080 Ti is just 75% stronger on average (Although the Fury X is still great at 4K if you just lower a couple of useless settings).

So justify it however you want. Indeed the 1080 Ti is the strongest gaming card (Besides the Quadro P6000, Titan XP, Radeon Pro Duo, and within a month the Vega Frontier).

75% more performance, for 300% the cost; and it will likely be defeated within 3 months by either a stronger Vega or Volta card. Enjoy throwing away your money to play 4K at 50 FPS.

What lala land do you live in? Here is all of the charts of games that average over 60FPS

Games that do not

So that is 16 reviewed games to 5, that exceed 60FPS, if we dig further into your claims we will find that the P6000 isn't faster in games without a modified driver, the Titan X pascal is slower and the Titan Xp is within a couple FPS, this would show what a modified driver P6000 could do since it is actually the same card sans ECC memory.

We could also take your claim of "although the Fury X is still great at 4K if you just lower a couple of useless settings" and end up with every single game exceeding 60FPS. As a person with two Fury's and two RX480's I can say thanks to the worthlessness of multi-GPU, the 1080Ti performs better. I don't know and you don't know the performance of the Vega lineup, but from what has been rumored the most we can hope for from the rumor mill is an equal of the Ti. Which by your own admittance isn't that impressive.

The 1080 Ti is not impressive imo:

Again I have been playing this game a while and played with quite a few of these cards. I do not lightly make claims based by biased articles read off of rumor mill pages.

Here's a thought, what's wrong with waiting for Vega but also buying a card now? I bought a 1080 but wanted Vega, guess what? I'm still buying a Vega high end card. I'm not the only one who will be doing this. A lot of us are wealthy enough to buy a high end card every other week or so if we want to.

60 FPS on average. Most will be dropping to 60, and that is mostly games that are near or over a year old like BF1 and Assassin's Creed: No one plays this edition. Those games that have the best graphics and are harder to run? Expect this fall's games to run like that on your 1080 Ti.

$700 of still turning down settings :D

So what do you think vega is going to do? Would you like to place a wager on it.

Excellent point, I purchased this since I was tired of waiting and plan to either go vega or get a second one and water cool the whole batch. I just like tweaking and happen to enjoy video games.

You're not supposed to throw money at the green camp because for every video card they sell they kill two puppies. And three bunnies. Or something.

I like games as well, I like tinkering on things too. Too bad I don't really end up playing much at all. I might have 10 hours of play time within the last two months :( Gone are the days/nights of mom bringing food to my room because I hadn't eaten in so long haha.

Well I do like puppies but rabbit meat is a bit tasty.

Not a big fan of cats, my GF's cat loves me but he annoys me at times. I woke up Thursday night around 3am and discovered that he had squirmed underneath my knees as I laid there sleeping...lol.
