Cherry Intros the MX Board 1.0 TKL Keyboard

Cherry, makers of the popular Cherry MX mechanical keyboard switches, which also sells its own line of gaming keyboards under the MX Board brand, introduced the MX Board 1.0 TKL (tenkeyless). The keyboard is further available in three variants based on switch model (MX Red, MX Blue, and MX Brown); and two sub-variants based on switch type (linear-push, and pressure-point). The MX Board 1.0 TKL features a compact design, with a matte black ABS body, measuring 370 mm x 150 mm x 25 mm (WxDxH), weighing 730 g. It features an 87-keyset, and as a tenkeyless keyboard, it lacks the NUM pad. The keys feature white LED illumination. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Linear switches became popular again with the gaming keyboard market growth this decade, and a lighter switch was preferred for quick double tapping and so on. In fact, there are even lighter linear switches available now from multiple companies.

Ahh, you make a good point about the double-tap; that is applicable to me in Dota. Well, it looks like I am definitely trying out Reds next. My current keyboard is a Deck which has black switches. It's been a good keyboard that has lasted 7 years with no malfunction so far.
