Well, they were supposed to be working on a new version with updated features, so I want to know what came of it.

Also, it doesn't always play well with some games or other overlays, which is due to it being out of date. It certainly doesn't always play nice with MSI AfterBurner's overlay, depending on the game, which can completely lock up at startup with the two running. Either one and it's ok.

Makes sense it doesnt work with a second overlay running at the same time. Never a good idea.

one the later CoDs and a couple of others I think. Basically, I wanted to see the various readings from AB with the clear fps counter from Fraps. It's worked just fine on W7 in the past with quite a few games, so it's no so unreasonable to expect it to work now, double overlay or not. I think there are other small glitches with it, but I can't remember what they were now.

Yeah, ive done 2 overlays as well, but it can cause some weird to stuff to happen is why i asked. That said for testing, ive run both fine together in w10 before too. Maybe across like 10 games only though.

^^^THIS. Everyone is saying AB works just fine in W10, etc, but what they are all ignoring is it doesn't work in DX12. If the new FRAPS will work in DX12, then that is a game changer in the overlay market.

Therin lies the problem. It's only Steam (half my library is on mostly GOG or a few on the other two), and only frames, no temperature monitoring.

I use gadgets for temp and usage monitoring. (Good old W7) on my second Monitor.

And most other games I play that arnt through steam have an inbuilt FPS counter anyway like Black desert, Diablo 3, etc.
