DeepCool have come forward to announce a slight variation on their Captain 240EX RGB AIO solution, which we've covered in the past. The new version offers the exact same features as the 240EX RGB (non white) version, such as software control of the RGB lighting (ASUS' Aura Sync, MSI's Mystic Light and Gigabyte's RGB Fusion), or through an included wired controller. All variants of the Captain 240EX RGB also come bundled with an additional LED strip for your case; it can be plugged in to the available RGB LED header, synchronizing the LED behavior via the motherboard (an in-line RGB LED controller is also bundled for users who don't have a LED header.)

The white variant of the Captain 240EX RGB AIO is compatible with all modern processors from AMD (including AM4) and Intel (including LGA2011-v3 and LGA1151), with both parts being rated for the same 150 W TDP. Tubing length comes in at 310~315 mm, and the fans are rated for 500 RPM at the lowest end (±200 RPM) to 1800 RPM on max speed (±10% RPM). The noise profile oscillates between a 17.6 dBA minimum and a 31.3 dBA maximum. The white version of the Captain 240EX RGB will be available starting September 2017. It will be the same price as the regular non-white Captain 240EX RGB at $129.99 USD.

150W TDP

That's very disappointing, when we have similar AIOs from other companies in the same price range rated for 300-500W TDP

I heard somewhere this is one of the most silent AIOs on the market, so maybe it has something to do with it?

wrong, most silent is " zalman Reserator 3"

before i install full water loop, i have that reserator on my 220W cpu, on idle, like browsing, watching movies, fan not even spin, and temp dont go over 35C, when start playing and give some strees fan start working but so quietly. srsly i was suprise.

Well, have you tested it against this one?

It says it's 17.6 dBA in idle and 31.3 dBA at load, so that would also be inaudible at idle and almost the same at load.

These AIO's can handle a lot more than 150w. I don't know why it says that.

Really good company with plenty of good quality product and they don't charge an arm and a leg for them.

Those TF120 fans are top notch. I have 7 of them in my PC. Really quiet and excellent performance for both airflow and static pressure.

I think some companies are just more conservative with estimations but yes I agree it could do much more than 150W.

It says "white version", but it's really "white & black", with those ugly fan blades and tubing...

guess they couldn't bring themselves to spend the extra $3 for the 1 oz of additional white die or paint to make it a real "white" device.

Suks 'cause I am gathering parts for my "SnowBlind" build over the holidays, and was hoping this was gonna be the cooling solution I have been looking for... oh well :(

I had the non-RGB white version of this and thought it was decent apart from the fact that the pump was malfunctioning :L My 7700k would quickly go into the 90Cs at stock and begin to throttle.

It seemed like it had good build quality though and the mounting procedure was fairly easy (similar to Noctua's procedure actually).

that reserator 3, can handle up to 400W TDP,

like i sayd its most powerful and silent aio cooler for price

if depence i would build any pc and need aio cooler 100% reserator build in

I like B&W more than all-white or all-black. :toast:
