Alphacool has just made available another line of products, in the form of their new Eisstation series of compact reservoirs. Alphacool has carved three new products based on this reservoir design, the Alphacool Eisstation DC-Ultra, Eisstation DDC, and Eisstation VPP, for different pump options (D5, DDC and DC-LT). Alphacool is calling user's attention to the myriad of mounting options available (it can be screwed to a number of places on your case, and there's a Velcro pad offered to increase mounting possibilites even more). The small footprint (the Eisstation are small enough to fit inside a 3.5" bay cage) and subtle blue RGB lighting are also of note (other color options are available through mod kits).

The top of the Eisstation is made of clear, break-proof Nylon (which is more resistant than Plexiglass), which allows the blue LED lighting to shine through. An IN and an OUT with G1/4 threads are located on the top, while the cap, is served by one G1/4" and one G3/8" connection (the G3/8" connection should simplify your filling endeavors, and can also serve as a lighting module for 5 mm LEDs).

Two additional 5mm LED places can be found in the bottom of the reservoir and illuminate the water-filled portion from below. Pricing for the Eisstation models starts at €34.95 for the Eisstation DC-Ultra Solo reservoir, passing through €39.95 for the DDC and €42.95 for the VPP versions, all the way to €89.95 for the Eisstation VPP reservoir with Alphacool's Eispumpe VPP755 pump combo.

This might be a good replacement for my original stock pump/res that came with my case. 12 years old now at least but still going, it’s loud though is my beef with it.

Looks nifty, although I'm reasonably happy with my EK SPC pump+res combo. It's on the weak side for a CPU+GPU+dual rad loop, but it works fine. If I ever go for water in my HTPC, this looks like an excellent option though.

Still, I have to comment on how silly it looks mounting that tiny reservoir in a case with practically unlimited space for tall reservoirs, though. That's a bit weird.

Keep in mind most Alphacool Rads have 5 ports any rad installed in the top of the case has the perfect fill port built right into the rad. I use one of these and it works perfectly. With proper tube run filling to near 100% with out cycling the pump is easily achieved.

This is one of the things that separate Alphacool rads from most the rest and why I buy them exclusively.
