EK Water Blocks, the Slovenia-based premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer is excited to announce the expansion of the S Kit lineup. Following the recent release of EK-CoolStream SE 140 and EK-CoolStream SE 280 slim radiators, two new kits will also be joining the webshop. Slim Series kits or in short S Kits are a great choice for beginners at liquid cooling and people doing builds with limited radiator space.

EK-KIT S140 and EK-KIT S280 beside the super compatible thin EK-CoolStream SE radiator that they use will also be very suitable for low noise scenarios. As we know, slim radiators benefit from low-speed fans more than the thick ones, and the 140mm fan format only adds additional cooling surface.

Why did we design the Slim Series kits?
The S kits are compact starter liquid cooling kits dedicated to all users who seek the best performing, market proven components for highest chassis compatibility. Designed for cases with limited radiator space, the S kits are a great choice for every liquid cooling beginner and people doing compact builds. Customers looking for a complete CPU custom loop solution, get an affordable package with step by step instructions and don't have to worry about compatibility issues or getting the wrong amount of fittings, too short tube or any other problems beginners face with! Each S kit will make your PC silent, highly overclockable and absolutely beautiful! Every EK kit is ready for any further expansion with additional radiators, water blocks, etc.

EK-KIT S140 and EK-KIT S280 bring the following components:
EK-Supremacy MX UNI - a CPU water block that fits all modern CPU sockets like Intel LGA 115*, Intel LGA 20** and AMD AM4 with a universal mounting mechanism that offers error-preventing, tool-less installation. The result is an easy installation which brings perfect performance every time.

EK-CoolStream SE radiator (EK-CoolStream SE 140 and EK-CoolStream SE 280) - offers best cooling capacity in the 25mm thick radiator class: copper fins provide massive surface area while the parallel flow cooling chambers reduce hydraulic flow resistance to a minimum. Built for EK-Vardar 140mm high static pressure fans, these radiators are optimized for maximum heat dissipation across an entire fan operational range, thus delivering exceptional performance at both low- and high airflow operation.

EK-Vardar EVO - industrial grade high-static pressure computer cooling fan, designed and built primarily for high-performance computer liquid cooling systems. EK-Vardar is simply the best choice for computer radiator cooling as it provides unmatched performance throughout the entire operating range. One 140mm Vardar is included with EK-KIT S140 and two 140mm Vardar fans are included with EK-KIT S280.

EK-XRES 100 SPC MX PWM (incl. pump) - is a value-oriented water cooling pump reservoir combo. Co-engineered by EK Water Blocks, it has been designed to lower the production costs yet still offer premium hydraulic performance at the best price. PWM control allows for automatic pump speed regulation depending on your CPU temperature. Full performance on demand or whisper quiet operation in idle mode!

EK-ACF Fittings - Advanced Compression Fittings are high-quality compression fittings, designed for use with flexible soft tubing. Six EK-ACF Fitting 10/13mm - Nickel (3/8" - 1/2") are enclosed with every S kit.

EK-DuraClear - 2 meters of the premium quality PVC tubing, guaranteed to be free of plasticizer leaching related issues. It is guaranteed to be free of plasticizer leaching related issues and to have long-lasting clarity. 2 meters of tubing is more than enough for a complete loop and you will be left with enough spare to add more liquid cooling parts or reroute your loop if needed.

EK-CryoFuel Clear - is a specially designed additive for computer liquid cooling systems. It comes in a weight-saving 100mL concentrated form, which just needs to be diluted with 900mL distilled water (not included). The diluted liquid forms a stable non-toxic mixture for your liquid cooling loops and contains all the necessary corrosion, scale, and biological growth inhibitors.

The best solution for beginners!
Kits are easy to install, use and maintain, a thorough installation manual is included. Every item in these kits can be purchased separately, further descriptions and specifications of individual items can be found in EK Shop.

The majority of components are pre-assembled, resulting in a quick and painless installation procedure. Once installed, these kits are a full custom loop solution. They can be upgraded with additional water blocks, for example, GPU water blocks and components, such as additional radiators. If you are cooling your rig with air and dreaming about liquid cooling, these kits will make your transition to this elite club as easy as possible!

Availability and pricing
All new S Series kits are readily available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. Bellow is the full list of components included with every S Kit and MSR prices with VAT included:

Compatibility list
S Series kits are compatible with the following CPU sockets:
  • Intel LGA-1150/1151/1155/1156
  • Intel LGA-2011(-3)
  • Intel LGA-2066
  • AMD Sockets: AM4

aio sucks, either you have to have noise or silence and break em quickly.
I hover around 60 c cpu and they break usually within a year.
on a gpu as a hybrid mod they last like 6 months on a 7970, 290x, 980ti.

currently on an EK waterpump, EK vega block with 2x slim rads (not from ek but aliexpress\ebay kinda deal)
The rads are still way too expensive as single piece, their waterblocks are top quality and good value :D

Hope it’s not flimsy as vega 64 block.. I had bad experience with ekwb. First block was leaking and second block thread came off :/

Finally i got tired of it and went with XSPC vega block and now it’s at 28c idle and full load 45c at 1700mhz clock +25 power and 1050 for core and 1000 for mem and mem at 1025

That said; I have a ekwb cpu block and that’s really good.

Is the failure rate so high really ? I've never owned an AIO yet, but I am just getting rdy for GPU mod. AIO has been ordered already and on its way.

It really depends, 300W through an AIO is like asking for trouble.
I have friends with 5920's, 7700k's and such without issues.
The gpu's I listed are well... power hungry.
Stay at 250W and below and I'm sure they'll do just fine but for a base 250w+ card I would definitely not recommend it and I have a bunch of the kits laying around to tell their tale.

Asetek say 60C liquid temp is when stuff happens and that is true, it is very easy to check up on :)

Wow, you had experience. I will be testing on RX560 - 75W card, just for the hobby, not so much I have trouble with the stock cooler or something. Thanks for the info, it was really useful. :)
