More pics in the PR would be nice, this actually looks like it could be good, not fully vertical, which is too much IME.

If there are enough buttons and it seems no horizontal mouse wheel scrolling ... I can see this for work/portability with a laptop.

A gaming/pro workstation version with more buttons/functions would be an idea for them to consider.

No, you need to go full vertical or nothing. These "half vertical" are bad because you always have to resist your hand twisting back into the horizontal position. I owned a mouse like this before I sent it back because it was just too tiring to use. You always have to flex your muscles for you hand not to just sag on top of the buttons and click them. Now I have a fully vertical mouse and it's amazing.
