X2 is proud to introduce the PIRATE 1620 tempered glass PC gamer case. This new chassis with tempered glass front and side panels is pure coolness. With more than sufficient space for up to 5 drives and 7 expansion slots for the installation of long graphics cards (up to 390mm length VGA card), large CPU cooler (up to 180 mm height clearance), and superior air cooling enabled through the possible 6 x 120 mm fan mount locations throughout this chassis. Already included are 2 multi-LED red cooling fans, one on the rear and one in the front.

The PIRATE 1620 offers easy maintenance via the tool-free removal of the tempered glass panels. Considerable options for gaming peripheral connections through the three USB ports and HD Audio jacks. Standard USB configuration is 2 x USB 2.0 & 1 x USB 3.0. The chassis is constructed out of 0.6mm SECC steel and facilitates neat cable routing and good system airflow. The power supply unit is separated and enclosed on the bottom of this structure for reduced noise levels and improved cooling. Same ol thing but dam $80 makes it pretty attractive.

0.6mm SECC. This is gonna be one flimsy, noisy case with those heavy panels on the side and such a weak skeleton. Price is way too high, especially if you take the design into account as well. For that price its even doing the tempered glass trick wrong, with transparent glass on the back so you can't tuck away cables anywhere without seeing them.

I just bought the DIYpc Vanguard from the egg for $70, same as this one. I'm pretty happy with it overall, sturdy construction, etc. I was planning on paying $200+ for a case, but these cheaper ones are really good overall and yes, as long as the skeleton is thick enough.
