AkRacing likely isn't as well-known as some other high-profile gaming chair makers, but it's a company that certainly has a lot of confidence in their ability to design a superior quality products. The company showcased its gaming chair lineup at CES 2018, which includes offerings in various colors, such as red and blue, catering to most gamers' favorite color choices (apparently, companies just can't go wrong with any manner of black + another color combo, really). The company's offerings are spread out throughout three different products categories: the Core Series, which is the more basic configuration; Office Series, which aims to bring maximum comfort to what should be essentially work environments; and Master Series, the company's product pinnacle, which are also, appropriately, the most expensive and more complete options.

However, one of the things that attracts most attention with AKRacing's gaming chairs is the warranty: the company offers a five year warranty on the chair itself (cushion materials, and so on), while offering an overwhelmingly good 10-year warranty on the chair's frame. This particular advantage of AKRacing's over other gaming chair-producing companies could be the hedge the company needs for increased relevance in this market.

I don't really mind the whole racing chair theme but they got to stop doing the holes in the headrest for the seat belts. It is a computer chair, it doesn't have seat belts. Who wants to rest their head on some hard plastic holes smack in the middle of your headrest? This is basic design.

I'm 67, have a bad back and Sciatic problems. A high quality, well-supporting and comfortable chair is essential. With all the new gaming chairs coming out, I'm intrigued, but won't dare order a chair I haven't tried but we have a company in town that will customize chairs like this with added/extra cushions.

They're there for the lumbar cushion straps to go through, you're not resting your head on the plastic parts, that's what the head cushion is for.

Shouldn't need pillows if you make the chair right. My chair came with one of those pillows and I never use it. Pushes my head too far forward. I don't want to be forced to use a pillow. You can have a lumbar pillow without giant holes in your headrest. It is just the shitty RGB GAMER BOI design keeping those holes in there, not function.

I don't understand the attraction of these chairs. Just look on Amazon or the egg and they all look exactly the same and appear to come out of the same factory in China for all brands. The only one I would consider is Noble and they are hugely expensive. In fact, since nearly all Twitch streamers use these racing chairs, the prices have climbed steadily the past couple of years.

I just bought a La-z-boy Aston manager chair with an open back and this thing is the same price as the racer chairs, but is super high quality. It has mesh on the side, lumbar and very little plastic stuff. It's the real deal.
