I will have to buy the 3 year pass, although i was thinking that it wasn't necessary since i bought on 2016 the Complete Edition but it seems like Complete edition owners will not have the chance to get the 3 year pass for free.

Bought the started edition not knowing how the game worked. It's a very extended time(like 10x the time) for new operators over the other editions. The problem is either I buy credits that amounts to quite a bit more money than the other editions to unlock a decent amount of operators, or I grind it out. There is no option to upgrade my edition of the game to one of the other ones by paying the difference. I would if I could, but at this point it's pointless to buy another edition is just another waste of money as I don't get any other operators, just an easier time to get new ones. An edition upgrade option in the store would be nice since they are very vague on what you get when you buy the starter edition...I didn't want to spend a lot since I had the option of a cheaper version just to try out the game. The lack of demos on games these days is also annoying, but giving me an entry level option and then no recourse to upgrade is very frustrating. I would be more willing to upgrade my edition than pay for coins to buy operators, but that's what I am forced to do now, although I won't so they get less money from me and I may even stop playing all together.

I got two games for free The Division and Rainbow Six as a promotional items with purchase of a NVidia GFX Card. Both of these games went under appreciated by me for that reason. But recently I started to play rainbow six and realize I have been missing out on such a competitive games which utilize modern CPU to full potential. I do appreciate the fact now they have dedicated Voice servers which is necessary for this competitive games.

Never understood why gamers spend real money on games when I can get all sorts of rewards ( weapon skins, head gear, booster etc.) from rare ALPHA packs which I do get quite frequency on RANKED games.

Right, this game stress very good the GPU, i got the complete version because you know, Gabe is a hero and made possible an awesome deal, that was before they implemented the alpha packs from Ranked games, i give you credit on that, the game is very well optimized!

It was more of optimization that got me into this game then Genre itself. I picked up Corsair K95 and M65 Pro just for this game. BTW who is Gabe?

Been hesitating to buy this on steam's winter sales, but now it seems the right time to get it right?

I do have some background with competitive shooters but this one has a bit of a high learning curve to it right?
Is it welcoming to new players or it'd be a rough experience?

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of Ubisoft but they have definitely shown to be capable to radically adjust their development and the game resulting out of that. They have rapidly become very good at listening to the communities' needs. They did take their sweet time, but The Division in its current state compared to pre-1.6 is a perfect example of this, and Rainbow Six Siege is another. Both of them pretty awesome games with good balance and gameplay.

The only reason I don't play RS:Siege is because of the unlock systems. I'm done chasing tiered carrots.
