GIGABYTE today released the Aorus AC300W Lite chassis, a slightly scaled down variant of its AC300W chassis with VR-Link. The Lite variant does away with the original's USP, the VR-link connection. The original has a front-panel HDMI port that plugs into the "VR-Link" internal HDMI ports of certain Aorus-branded graphics cards. The Lite variant also does away with the glowing Aorus logo on the bottom compartment cover. The rest of its specifications remain unchanged. You still get the RGB LED-illuminated front panel Aorus logo and accents, controllable by GIGABYTE RGB Fusion software.
Inside, you'll get a conventional horizontally-partitioned layout, with room in the top compartment for graphics cards up to 40 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height; and the bottom compartment housing two 3.5-inch drive bays, in addition to the PSU bay. Two additional 2.5-inch drives can be mounted behind the motherboard tray. Ventilation includes either three 120 mm or two 140 mm front intakes, two 140/120 mm top exhausts, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. The company didn't mention pricing.
