EK Water Blocks, the Slovenia-based premium PC liquid cooling gear manufacturer is expanding its RGB portfolio by presenting a Full Cover water block for AMD Radeon Vega architecture based high-end graphics cards. Customers will be able to transform their graphics card into a beautiful, bright single slot card while the water cooling block will allow the GPU to reach higher frequencies, thus providing more performance during gaming or other demanding tasks.

EK-FC Radeon Vega RGB
This water block directly cools the GPU, HBM2 memory, and VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC Radeon Vega water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design for best possible cooling performance, which also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. This kind of efficient cooling will allow your high-end graphics card to reach higher boost clocks, thus providing more performance during gaming or other GPU intense tasks. Moreover, such design offers great hydraulic performance allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

The base of the block is CNC machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is CNC machined out of high-quality acrylic material. The sealing is ensured by quality rubber O-rings. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure.

EKWB recommends the purchase of aesthetic retention backplate which improves the looks of your graphics cards and also provides some passive cooling to the VRM circuit board. The EK-FC Radeon Vega water block is compatible with both Nickel and Black versions of the EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplates. The EK-FC Radeon Vega water block is also compatible with the factory backplates of all Radeon Vega based graphics cards (except for the AIO liquid cooled versions)!

The block also features a special plastic cover over the block Terminal. This add-on is designed to reveal the Radeon logo, visible from the side. EK also encloses a single-slot I/O bracket which replaces the original two-slot in order to make installation of multiple graphics cards easier and also transforms the GPU into a gorgeous single slot solution.

The EK-FC Radeon Vega RGB water block is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers since it features a classic 4-pin 12V RGB LED strip.

EK-FC Radeon Vega water block is compatible with multiple AMD Radeon Vega graphics cards series (see the Compatibility list):
  • Radeon Vega Frontier Edition
  • Radeon RX Vega 64
  • Radeon RX Vega 56

In order to simplify the search for suitable and compatible water block, EK is adding newly released graphics cards and motherboard from various manufacturers to EK Cooling Configurator database.

Availability and pricing
The EK-FC Radeon Vega RGB water block is made in Slovenia, Europe, and it is available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. In the table below you can see manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) with VAT included.
  • EK-FC Radeon Vega RGB - Nickel: 129.90€
  • EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplate - Nickel: 37.90€
  • EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplate - Black: 29.90€

I guess it's quite a few trying to tame the inefficient fusion reactor :)
I can tell you the story, but again a 1080 under water is the most waste I've seen so I guess it's not nearly selling as well as 1080ti but for EK full cover blocks I guess it sells good cause it just wants it.

I paid 1070 price for mine so then you know why I have one, amd probably earnt 50 cent off it..

Seems a little late yeah? Why don't they have this shit ready on GPU release ever? Its always multiple months later. I know it takes time to engineer and design but they are just a cold plate that flows water..

I am watercooling my Vega 64 . It seems like a must have for such power consumption/bad stock cooler. Drop from high 80s degrees Celsius with 80+ % RPM stock fan to max 46 degrees Celsius @ 100% load with full cover EK waterblock.

The thousands of miners...... bla bla bla, more efficient than Nvida bla bla bla, AMD is making money again.

Honestly at this point, it might be them ready for the drop in underpriced cards sold used with mediocre coolers, and gamers who will push the card instead of watt/hash being the pull, it will be performance.

For the 15 people who managed to get one to play games on who might want to watercool it. For the rest , it works well enough as it is mining.

Does RGB really take that long to include. It is just RGB. It should have been at most 1month later.

One month for Red, one for Green and another for Blue. Seems to make perfect sense to me :D

I'm glad they've made these compatible with the stock backplates. I'm still annoyed I have to use my Fury X without a backplate when it came with one from the factory - at best, I can attach it with a single screw ... :p

Like me? They sell enough Vegas, people are just paying way too much for them. :kookoo:

Just ordered, previous to the release, the non rgb Version...
Some add. bucks for the RGB version arr...
I don't like that RGB stuff so nope not interested. ^^

My initial Plan to sell my RSP Stock Vegas and buy some customs with ~RSP pre-order failed completely.
I ordered literally each custom Version and also the stock Water cooling Version and waited several damn months.
Each and every a**hole seller in Europe sold them to other customers because they paid more.
In the last weeks I canceled the last 10 orders and again more shops on my black list that are even to snobbish to write automatic emails that the order is again delayed^^
