No. The vast majority of content since woltk is far superior compared to vanilla. Bosses like Lei Shen, Klaxxi, Elisande, Gul'dan, the new Archimonde or Kil'Jaeden have way more interesting mechanics that the regular random ohk bosses of vanilla, and let's not talk about class mechanics because that would be unfair to vanilla ones. You can watch any first kill back then and most casters just spam the same filler over and over, the only concern back then was how much time you spent farming for pots, Scholomance and Stratholme, move when the ground is bright and not surpass tank's aggro.Yes it is true. But there is Mythic now and that still requires a pretty high level of skill and group coordination, I'd say todays' Mythic matches the regular vanilla content back then..
The game evolved to a much polished state. There are difficulty levels for every player, mythic difficulty nowadays would reap every pro guild back then, the only difficult part was when Naxxramas 60 was overtuned. The funniest joke about this "vanilla was more difficult" stupidity was when only one guild could beat Lich King without the warsong buff on time or how blizzard had to nerf Kil'Jaeden in Legion. Yes, the game hasn't been challenging at all since vanilla.
I can't stand anymore watching people admiring vanilla like it's the greatest thing ever in 2018.
