CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro Memory Images Leaked Ahead of COMPUTEX

The folks over at Videocardz have gotten their hands on some renders of Corsair's upcoming RGB Pro memory, which takes RGB lighting up to eleven. Expect an announcement at or around Computex. For now, no specs have been revealed but we're giving you the opportunity to gasp, in awe, at the design of these RGB-tastic sticks.

Good move... now it doesn't matter what brand of sticks you get, they all look like the same light bar. But this says PRO so its probably better?

@Raevenlord prediction of these kit's specs will be starting from either 2.6, 3.0 or higher, CAS timing is around 14 or higher, integrates with Corsair's iCUE better with more customization over the previous model & whatnot. For packages, it'll be in 2 x 16GB, 4 x 16GB, 2 x 32GB & 4 x 32GB kits. Maybe 2 x 64GB or a mad 4 x 64GB kits is possible considering some builders would cram tons of RAM coz why not.

And they're still ugly, we could've gone with this leak for a few more weeks. Why is it only g.skill that seems to have been able to get aesthetics+rgb right?

I expect we'll have to pay a premium soon to get RAM / MoBos w/o RGB. problem is the teenyboppers are still drooling over this and maunfacturer's that jumped on the bandwagon are getting access to premium ICs due to the quantities they sell and the performance oriented lines are being cut off.

I can't take issue with RGB lighting or any lighting based on the fact that the lights can always be turned by clicking a few bios settings. But Ugly is something that cannot be turned off only hidden away.

They look better than Vengeance RGB. But no close to G Skill Trident Z.

I'm leaning towards an EVGA motherboard for my next major build, just because they have no RGB. Even their graphics cards have few LEDs, although some have the RGB G/P/M lights (color change with temps, they start green, turn yellow when warm, and red when hot, lights for graphics, power, memory = G/P/M). A valid use for RGB. They even named their X299 Dark board for this philosophy, and made fun of "others" who "put enough RGB LEDs on their boards to make you think racing lights will make your board go faster". I like the way they think. The X299 Dark costs $500, so yeah, we'll pay a premium for non-RGB parts going forward. Asus should take a hint and release a "Covert" series of hardware (please, no Ninja series).
