Remember the FX-9590 launch? They asked $1000.00 at first. It was one of the most underwhelming Chips that I ever owned. (won it and a motherboard in a contest in July 2013)
But it has been dependable. My son has it in California to play games with and it still works fine with the AMD supplied CoolerMaster AIO it came with.
I remember I was totally sold on the AMD vision with bulldozer already parted my Intel core system, slumming it on a laptop, money set aside talking all that good shit, waiting for the glorious future. Then when reality shows up, I couldn't find a hole to crawl into fast enough. Not anything about the products my comment is directed the monkeys doing it's song and dance in front of them at their respective times. For those defending Intel, especially the "AMD did it too folks" iirc AMD got blasted for doing so then so it's only fair that Intel gets their share of flak.
