Acer have gone out of their way in designing a gaming chair that makes all other huddle, frightened, in a corner. The Thronos is built upon an "excessively grandiose" philosophy (my words, not Acers'), and... Saying that it's eye-catching really doesn't cover it. No. The Thronos is the gaming chair equivalent of a Redwood tree - you may wish to avoid it, but it's just impossible to look away. Especially because of its 1,5 m height, over 485 pounds in weight (oh don't you just love the price of shipping on that one).

The Thronos is a battle-station, a command center that houses up to three 27" monitors (the cockpit is actually motorized to allow you to adjust these as you see fit) and your gaming rig of choice (be it a Predator-branded one or not), and is fully built in smoky black steel. Built in the same design language of other Predator products, the Thronos has white or blue accents cut into the metal and illuminated via LEDs. The chair reclines a full 140 degrees and features a built-in foot rest. Did we mention it has vibration motors that work alongside the game you're playing? Pricing of this monstrosity wasn't unveiled, but it will not, in any circumstance, be cheap, and you should expect something in the few thousands of greenbacks.

A video of this craziness follows.

Price? ...more than 3000£ I recon

This thing would only be worthwhile if it could accept 3x 32" monitors and had 6 axis motion simulation like a racing sim

Unless it can do this, it's not worth it :D

for that level of pricing Should have Built in Chiller for your Red Bull AND CUP HOLDERS

And bullet-proof glass housing.

Obviously at that price this item has a quite small customer target group but imo there will be more than a few orders for this

Haha. Looking at the thumbnail it looked like a VR headsetkit to up on face! that solution caters to more players than the latter; (at the price of 6+ VR headsets :p

MWE Labs Emperor is from $5300..

... but can be specced up to $15000. You can even get a heated seat! $3000 sounds about right.

EDIT: Wait, vibration motors. Sounds premium. $4000.

It's pretty ugly tho.

If I had that amount of money to burn, I'd get the real thing instead of fakes :pimp:

Give this device a pleasuring ability and we good.
Says it's got rumbles, you just need the software and possibly a stick on depending on your fancy ,not for me that though the chair looks good except , I would want active movement for racing games given the size and somewhere for a wheel.
Or do i cart my pc and screen between this and my playseat!(a brand of racing seat jic)! .

I think the front where the monitors lie should slowly rise up when you enter or get out. You could ask your console peasant friend to your house and greet him sitting in this device.

I could see this as a show piece in a gaming lounge / gaming cafe and charge more to play on it instead of the regular desktops.
LMAO, first thing that popped into my head.

A few .. try 10,000+

Let me guess...SPARCO or Recaro?

I... well, I can believe such a thing exists, but this is kinda sad.

When your kid has this, you know as parents you've lost the war.

I can only imagine some kid yelling at his parents to quit bothering him while he's pwning in Fortnite in his wtfchair that they're gonna be paying off for the next 5 years... :shadedshu:

Nobody made a Game of Thronos reference. Game, gaming, games. Throne, Thronos. Too easy I guess.
