CORSAIR , a world leader in PC gaming peripherals and enthusiast components, today announced the CORSAIR Force Series MP510 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, the latest and fastest in its range of M.2 solid state drives. The MP510 delivers blazing fast sequential read speeds up to 3,480MB/sec, and sequential write speeds up to 3,000 MB/s, making it CORSAIR's highest performing SSD yet.

Available in 240 GB, 480 GB, 960 GB, and 1920 GB capacities, the MP510 offers extreme storage performance in the ultra-compact and simple M.2 2280 form factor, fitting directly into a motherboard or notebook. Utilizing the ultra high-speed NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 interface for maximum bandwidth, the MP510 leaves traditional SATA 6Gbps and even previous generation M.2 SSDs in the dust. Loading everything from large video and image files to games, applications or the operating system faster than ever before, the MP510 supercharges your system's performance, whatever you're doing.

Behind this incredible performance is the MP510's high-density 3D TLC NAND flash memory and effective thermal management that channels heat away from the PCB, ensuring the ideal mix of performance, reliability and endurance to keep the drive operating optimally for years. The MP510, along with the entire range of MP500 SSDs, is also compatible with CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software, enabling advanced drive controls such as secure erase and firmware updates directly from your desktop.

Backed by a comprehensive five-year warranty, there's never been a better time to upgrade to NVMe if you want to go faster.

Availability and Warranty
The CORSAIR Force Series MP510 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 SSD is available immediately from the CORSAIR worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors, as well as direct from the CORSAIR webstore. For more information, visit the product page.

I stay away from Toshiba crap but the price to performance on these is pretty tempting if you're brave enough to put your data on it or considering this over an HDD.

TPU needs to review one of the drives like the 480GB & compare next to Crucial's new P1 NVMe SSD & Samsung's 970 EVO NVMe SSD drives. Should be very interesting in the similar pricing segment.

Humm, finally someone else getting close to sammy's speeds....

Now if they can do it for less $$, sammy may have some real competition on their hands....
