Features of Thermaltake A500 Aluminum Tempered Glass Edition Mid Tower Chassis:
Sleek Aluminum Design
The A500 Aluminum TG chassis is built to be sleek and minimalist. The clean aluminum front and top panels hide the ample air intakes, and the power supply cover gives you plenty of space to route cables and clean up the build.

Dust Reduction
Fitted with a superb top filter, front filter and bottom filter. Providing excellent protection and reduction against dirt and dust.

Aluminum Modular Structural Statement with Two Tempered Glass Panels
Featuring aluminum panels created by high precision CNC digital cutting to ensure chassis security, while at the same time providing a futuristic gaming aesthetic. The aluminum anodizing process enables the panels to be both water and corrosive resistant as well. The aluminum casing utilizes CNC milling technology and was sandblasted to help shape the elegant and sleek curves. Two hinged swing-doors with premium-quality 4mm thick tempered glass design guarantees window durability and viewing capability to encourage users to thoroughly display superb inner components.

Tool-Free Installation
The A500 Aluminum TG comes with tool-free drive cages to provide the ease of installation/removal of backup drives. Fully maximize the interior space for highly customizable layouts, users get to mount up to four 3.5"/2.5" HDD inside the left side panel or on top of the PSU cover.

Superior Hardware Support
The A500 Aluminum TG has outstanding expandability, with support for a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 160mm, combined with a dual expansion slot VGA of up to 420mm in length without an HDD rack, as well as a power supply with a length of up to 220mm. Moreover, the hidden drive bay design guarantees expandability for even more liquid cooling configurations.

Excellent Cooling Capability
Preinstalled with three 120mm fans for optimal cooling performance, this case can house up to three 140mm front fans, two 140mm or three 120mm fans on the top and a radiator size up to 420mm. This allows the user at the same time to build a complete high-end system to suit their needs.

Handy I/O Ports
The top-front panel features two USB 3.0 ports, along with one Type-C and two standard USB 2.0 ports, to provide easy direct access points when needed.

DMD: Dismantlable Modular Design
Enables user to freely build the system from the ground up with given modular panels, racks, brackets, and pre-design mounting arrays. No more unreachable screw corners or gaps and enjoys installation in a breeze with Dismantlable Modular Design.

Very nice case. Just wish it wasn't tempered glass. Just make it metal on the sides too and I would definitely buy this.

Even with the drivebay-less design that I hate, I still like it somehow.

Nice case for sure, but why still include those antique USB 2 ports on the front panel, either make'em 3's or C's and be done with it....

And since I have long since moved to all m.2/ssd's, I favor the option to remove ALL drive cages and get the best possible air flow path :)

Oh I mean the front panel 5.25 bays. But I'm fine with with taking out internal HDD cages (optionally).

I see the desktop PC as virtually a one stop solution for anything. So I hate this trend that basically says "Your computer isn't a Blu-ray player.. get a dedicated machine instead." This idea of specialized equipment when you already have a PC is kind of dumb to me. Especially in these tower forms, where I should make use of space as much as possible. /rant

I agree with you, and I could live with one 5.25" bay on this case for sure, but that would take away some of their clean, slick look though.

However, I have lived without any drive bays for quite a while now, even though my case (TT900) can accommodate one, I chose to use it for a digital fan controller instead.... But I already had an external blue ray drive when I bought that case, so that made my decision a bit easier...

I can easily imagine me trying to plug the headphones to the... reset button.
They are very close and same shape.
But the case itself looks good.

What might be the cost of a "corporate mission" box, like this? Nice looks but, a DVD slot? Missing? Even Lian Li, the ultimate waste of moneys, usually has a DVD slot built in to there, " Clean Designs".

BTW, I'm drunk. I have spent more time correcting my typing than this post deserves. Too boot, I may be completely wrong. The last Lain Li contraption, I saw, was w/ out a DVD slot. But, me thinks I may be right that a lot of those money boxes do have them.

Rant over, I am going to bed. Thinking I am right!! LOL!

Gute Nacht meine Freunde!
;)
