One of SilentiumPC all-time favorite cases is now available as a variant with tempered-glass. The Regnum RG1 TG offers a new side panel, that blends seamlessly with understated exterior design for an elegant yet modern gaming case. RG1 is a dream come true for value-oriented buyers as it combines praised features with high-quality at an entry-level price point.

Regnum RG1 TG surprisingly roomy interior features a modern dual-chamber internal layout, which dramatically improves both airflow and cable management. Being compatible with ATX motherboards, long power supplies, high-end graphics cards with up to 380 mm length and CPU coolers up to 160 mm, it allows for flexible choice of components. In addition to that, Regnum RG1 TG comes with two external 5,25" drive bays as well as two 3,5 and two 2,5" internal drive bays for desired HDD/SDD configurations.

The chassis is equipped with a single quiet 120 mm case fan and supports up to six 120 mm fans in total. All intake holes are covered with dust-filters. Regnum RG1 is also compatible with both single and dual radiator all-in-one water cooling solutions.

All ports are located in the I/O panel at the top of the panel, including power and reset buttons, mic and headphone jacks as well as two USB 3.1 ports.

The new Regnum RG1 TG is going to be available in the next days at 39,90 EUR (MSRP, incl. VAT) in Europe.

Looks decent but wow that price. I'd fear it falling apart if I had it. How are low end cases in quality these days?

I like this case. Hits all the right notes on feature set. has a reset button, 2 5.25" bays, see-through side panel. My only complaint is the front-panel is upward facing, prefer it forward facing but that's a minor thing. Well nice this!

They have taken the basic black box to NO new levels. This is the most standard of standard case design right now as possible. No envelopes were pushed. Not a single thought outside of the box.

And none of that is bad.

No. Especially for $45 USD. The market will always need a minimum. To me this is the perfect case to compare to everything else and go "Is that $30 worth it? What does the $75 case do better than this?"

I also pick parts for a lot of friends on a budget, so having more than 2 case options is always great. I just want to know is if going to be available in the US and what the build quality is like.

Looks like it would be worth the asking price but no more.
I don't see anything that would make it standout so the price itself is about right.

Besides, what's a case gonna do - Just sit there?
Well... Yeah.

What does the $75 case do better than this?

Maybe some top fan ports for extra cooling.
This case really does tick the boxes for the money.
I too would consider it for a budget build.

Besides, what's a case gonna do - Just sit there?
Well... Yeah.
Like a trophy wife! LOL!

still bad, but some have great looks until you touch the steel that thin and easy to bend

Yes but unlike a racing chassis, a PC case doesn't need to be that rigid. They should have done their logo in black chrome, then it could be pure black :D

I saw a kid painting his cheap cooler master elite chassis (about thirty-five bucks) pure white the other day.
I suggested that he spray Molly Orange (the old Chevy engine color) towards it from about four feet away in short bursts. He ended up with a pure white case with a few, tiny bright orange spots all over it. The Plexiglass window remained clear and polished. His PSU got the same paint with some masking of parts of it.

It turned out great, (like a hint of orange on white, and he did his GPUs the same way)

A little experience and a willingness to try new ideas go a long way towards having something that stands out. No matter how much it was to buy.

I say to try out your ideas on these inexpensive chassis and see what you can come up with.
