Raidmax Neon RGB is a Mid-Tower Dominated by RGB LED Front Lighting

A trio of RGB LED illuminated front fans is emerging as the latest trend in PC case design, and Raidmax Neon RGB is one among many with this element. This ATX mid-tower is characterized by dark tinted tempered glass panels along the front and left side panels, and SECC steel along the right, top, and of course rear. Out of the box, you'll get three 120 mm included with the case, which are factory-fitted along the three 120 mm front intakes. Each of these has a silicone RGB LED diffuser ring along the bore of the frame. Interestingly, the case's sole exhaust is a paltry 80 mm rear vent, and is kept vacant.

You get an all-black interiors with a conventional horizontally-partitioned layout, with the bottom partition completely enclosed from the top, and accessible from the right side. The motherboard tray can house graphics cards up to 35.5 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height. Storage areas include two 3.5-inch trays which can each hold 2.5-inch drives, and three additional 2.5-inch mounts behind the motherboard tray. The front-panel is basic, with two USB ports, and HDA jacks, and a button to cycle through the RGB LED lighting presets. The case measures 436 mm x 191 mm x 426 mm (LxWxH). The company didn't reveal pricing, although we expect it to be among the cheaper cases in the market.

where does there get air from in the front? there seems to be no side ventilation. if the bottom is all it has, then temps are going to suffer hard. also, how does this case, being a mid tower in 2018, only have room for an 80mm in the rear. almost all cases 30+ can fit a 120mm or larger in the back.

they might as well just go back to making those horrible Acrylic cases with the colored fans already. That is essentially getting to the point again. Just get it over with so the craze can finally come to a halt again for the next decade, then let it repeat. By then, I will be much older and I will give even less of a crap about PC than I do now.

You have to beam it in from your orbital weapons platform using a modified hysenberg compensator dispersal array, thats all

what gets me is that todays hardware is suppose to be so efficient and that should = less power use and that should = less heat so why the need for these cases all opened up for use of 3 to 10 200mmm fans to cool ? [with all that 20 way user programmable LED lighting ..lol.. ]

funny how when there was high power use hot running cards and all they could not think of this then ? funny too is what a top card using 180 w still gets to 70 -85c even with todays ''better '' cooling sinks the before . you'd thing todays efficeant cards should not get over 50c using less power and far ''better coolers ' now on them

That's true if you're talking about the same performance... But in addition to getting more efficient, we made everything smaller and said "HEY WE CAN REALLY PACK IN A TON MORE CRAP ON THIS DIE NOW AND STILL SAY IT's 200W". I mean a a GTX 1060 is the performance of an SLI setup from 2 generations before and they basically have a gesture of a cooler on them.

I got latest stuff built in this antec case I bought like back in 2001 and todays stuff runs no hotter or cooler in it [all normal temps you'd expect ]

then it not a case for a guy that lies on the floor under his desk to look at the pretty lighting in a case and hardware it more for a guy that prefers to see whats throwing down on his display . what I see on the monitor is all that matters for my build not the disco party lighting inside a case ... lol.....
