While at CES 2019 we had the opportunity to check out Riotoro's new flagship case the Morpheus which uses a new convertible design making it an actual departure from traditional cases. Out of the gate, it sets itself apart with support for 2x USB 3.0 Type-C and 2x USB 3.0. The inclusion of USB Type-C was a nice change of pace considering the adoption of the new connector has still been a bit slow. That said they maintained the status quo in other ways by including headphone and microphone jacks along with RGB controls for good measure. Obviously, the final features and hardware support will depend entirely on the end users configuration of the chassis as it can be resized depending on user choice. The case itself is a dual chamber design that uses perforated mesh on all sides for superior cooling, with support for up to 240 mm liquid coolers. Motherboard support includes everything mini-ITX all the way up to EATX with the entire chassis offering tool-less assembly. It also provides support for up to 2x 3.5-inch drives and up to 4x 2.5-inch drives. Out of the box it comes with 2x 120 mm red LED intake fans, and a single 80 mm exhaust fan. The case is available now with a price tag of $189.99 directly from Riotoro.
They also had the more budget-friendly CR400 on hand as well which is a standard mid-tower design with mesh front panel for improved cooling and a side panel with window for showing off your hardware. Motherboard support consists of Mini-ITX up to standard ATX. It also offers support for up to a 240 mm radiator in the front and a 240 mm radiator up top. In regards to air coolers, potential buyers are limited to 122 mm according to the spec sheet. Graphics cards up to 300 mm in length are supported along with power supplies of up to 220 mm. When it comes to storage, the case has support for 2x 2.5-inch and 2x 3.5-inch drives. Meanwhile, dust filters for the bottom and top are included with the top one being magnetically attached. As for cooling out of the box it includes a single 120 mm red LED fan in the front as an intake and a plain 120 mm fan in the back as an exhaust. Another new offering is the CR410 which is a mid-tower design that offers a panoramic front panel. It is based on the same design as the CR400 but ups visual bling by a significant degree.
Pushing into the audio market Riotoro also had a headset on display dubbed the Aviator its a circumaural design with 7.1 surround sound. It offers a detachable microphone and earmuffs along with an adjustable head beam. The cable is fabric covered with a magnetic ring, and it includes a multi-platform adapter. In regards to the sound itself, it is provided via 50 mm drivers with a 20 Hz- 20 KHz frequency response. It will come with a two-year warranty and is available in two models, Classic and RGB. To go with the headset they also had a headset stand with a built-in wireless charging option for your cellphone which was quite interesting as well.
