This is really sad.
Gotta admit. That is the best damn looking (clean card) I have ever seen. Sapphire truly knows how to make it look clean and still top the charts. What a way to come out with special edition. Man I hope they continue this with Navi special edition. I kinda will get that for the colors. lol.
may be they will start making special edition cards down the road with new GPUs with this color option.

Uh, it's gold, which is different to the black, white, or blue versions they sell, but what does that have to do with AMD's 50th?
AMD's colours aren't (and have never been) gold. There's not even a AMD 50 logo anywhere on the card.
Unless you keep the packaging, this is just another colour variant of a normal 590 that already comes in other colours, without the €25 idiot tax.

ATI+AMDRadeon (not CPU division), they probably celebrating 15 years of innovation and 35 years of re-re-releases and re-re-re-releases.
Darn ATI/Radeon really is in the wilderness. Pro market is relatively fine-ish, but gaming oh dear... Polaris 590 is classic example of a product which just won't die, but it should have at least 2 years ago. I don't get it. AMD pumped billions into Vega development and they still shove Polaris down people throats. Such a good corporation...

The answer to that is simple, Polaris is still making money. AMD is a business at the end of the day.
well, what i can say, 50th version..ok but i cant see any reason to buy it if you look yourself goodies, i mean customer sake.
it loose games fps all middle sectors nvidia gpus and also budget sector ones...and still suxx alot more power. naah!
