It truly is sad how security gets just disregarded in mobile environment. I work and manage accounts billing close to 7 million in yearly revenue. I have companies so many mobile devices with little to no protection. My job is educating them but the sad part is how companies don't really read up on this stuff and don't even know if they compromised information. Although some are really intellgent, I had one client say we need something cuz I am afraid what I may have lost already and what I don't know lol. Well said!

I think this is the same type solution like you see in consumer Asus routers, partnered with Trend Micro. Or Norton's routers, or Bit Defenders OWN router (The "Box"I think they call it). Will be a DPI engine within the kernel for packet scanning. Will likely operate the same by sending traffic patterns and info etc to big brother to analyze then mark/tag back on your device.

This is good for people who like to set it and forget it, or even something to leave at mom and dad's house when you want to make sure they have SOMETHING when Dad's clicking those email links, click click click.

If it's like Asus', I don't see it being well adopted ..... I have all the Trend Micro stuff disabled because the access and use of your information was so objectionable I'd say I hadn't seen anything worse other than the Desktop Publishing Tool I evaluated many years ago that gave them unrestricted free use of anything I created with their software.

I have my wife pretty well trained.... she's not as bad as her sister (+1700 infections) but I used to just wipe her box every year and install OS avery year over XMas holiday. I can't get her off the toolbars but I have gotten her to a pon't where she is able to keep her "click on it" urges in check for everything except buttons that say FREE or SHOE SALE
