Thermaltake Announce Level 20 RGB Battlestation Gaming Desk for an Extraordinary $1,199

For that price I'd expect connectivity. A USB hub built into the desk, for example and that's the biggest mouse pad I've ever seen.

an ounce of Gold is cheaper?

I don't see $1,200 there.

What do you mean you dont see it? thats atleast $1150 in RGB and $49.95 for the desk from Ikea!

if that desk surface doubled as a monitor with touch and wireless capability tho...maybe that would be worth a second look

75 Kg? I already have problems everytime I have to move my current 30 Kg desk, I'd not even bother with something 2.5x as heavy...

for this price it should have a little stool to sit on so you can float above the ground, hell get an OhMyBod vibrator inside to provide feedback

Hard to believe but believe me it will sell.too many kids who don't know the value of money and how hard it is earned and just living through their parents.

Who's worried? These days you can put crap in a box and with the global reach of the internet, you'll still find enough people to buy it.

Every time I see something like this, I think "Pfffft,.... they slap RGB on everything and think those suckers will love it". Its almost insulting,......

Then I think, "Ooooooh its got RGB on it, I love it!!!!".

:)

Put a VEGAN label on it and it will sell.

just for table, maybe next full size bed with RGB effect

It's not ugly, but the price tag is 1000 usd too high.

I was expecting an overpriced Lian-Li PC desk clone, but this....

Rated at 150kg load, but you can't even dance on it (read cautionary disclaimer).

this is essentially an adjustable desk from IKEA with all the "gaming" features + rainbow puke at the sides. $1200 is just overkill. Rather take a minimalistic, DIY desk kit from IKEA & stick some RGB LED strips for background accent lighting.

BOM Cost Breakdown = $199 ( profit= $1000) + Sales Tax ( is this + Trumps 25% levy)

the funny thing is that there will be people that will buy these lol

:shadedshu::shadedshu::shadedshu::shadedshu::shadedshu: We have finally sunk to "THAT" level :shadedshu::shadedshu::shadedshu::shadedshu::shadedshu:

No kidding there. Although it seems that 75 Kg is the whole thing (packaging included) and 68 Kg is the net weight of the desk, according to specs. It can handle up to 150 Kg of load, so that's something (then again, what can kind of equipment do you need to reach even half of that?).

Daaamn! That's some desk, right there!

Hmm I see the market is respnding! The price is now slashed to match this desk:
