NZXT Announces the H510 Elite Compact Premium Mid-Tower

Stunning! I've been a huge fan of the NZXT series of cases since landing my first S340 ELITE. The front fan visibility was the only thing missing for me from an aesthetics point of view - although I admit, I would have preferred a fine-lined magnetic mesh for the leds/RGB to shine through (would have been a nice airflow PLUS)

Other than having the Type-C on the front panel and the all-steel construction, I see nuthin here that makes me wanna buy this case....

Everything else about it just screams "same ole same same rectangular boxen", especially that overly-pretentious bottom trim that is, IMHO, fu.g.g.g.g.l.y AF, and the fact that you have buy the riser card seperately if you wanna mount your GPU vertically.....these things cost maybe $10-15 to make, and nowadays, it should really be included at no additional charge !

I wish I could share your enthusiasm lol .....the GPU horizontal plane is fully accessible and preferred IMO for kinder GPU air intake hence not so bothered about the riser cable. Although I admit, the exterior envelope opposed to a inner PSU shroud is a little on the "hefty" side of things but ME-STILL-LIKIN-IT!!

Owner of the H500, fantastic case. upgraded from S340.
Now the H510, the glass front looks very subtle and clean, plus the USB-C.
This may be on my list soon.

I currently have the S340 Elite. How did your temps compare when switching to the H500?

Using the same fan layout the temps was slightly better, 1-2c (could just be margin of error)
Noise was quieter, due to the filter not being against the fans. Which impede airflow.
Overall I enjoy the case much better with both side panels placement and rear SSD support.

Excellent. That's more encouragement for me to consider the H510

They moved the front fan placement up a few mm in a negative pressure case. It already acts wonky with dual fans in front and moving up closer to the front is going to add to that.
