And its just as useless with those specs as this one. Still reselling TN with retarded added features. 8 bit as if its a perk on a panel that can barely hit over 1000:1, 240hz while 95% of all games will never see that FPS.

Polished turds. TN has one real perk: low price. If it lacks that, avoid. You will be reminded TN is crap every time you move in your chair

Guys, again bashing TN? How many times we have to repeat that TN is basically for people that take multiplayer shooters seriously and want to be competitive? Last time I tried to play Quake on IPS panel I got a headache in 10 minutes with all the blur fest, it didn´t even seem the same game. Every single fast mouse movement = blurry image, it was shocking.

For Witcher 3 or Tomb raider, yeah IPS or VA defo, even prefer VA tbh due to the contrast. But for online gaming TN is king and only Oled/Micro led can kill it. Pixel response time and motion clarity are everything on those situations, so the 240hz TN makes sense for people that play those games. Apex, Quake, Black Ops 4, battalion, etc.

I totally agree that TN panels have been fine for high performance, but we are in an age where VA panels at 144Hz are affordable and it seems some brands do try to cash in a little bit

Misplaced elitism has no place here. Fact is the vast, vast majority of gamers takes it just as seriously as the next guy in each personal opinion. A smaller group of those considers themselves 'pro gamers' and a tiny, tiny minority of them is actually playing at a level that might approach that. 'Play seriously'... as long as you're not making money with it, you're just as serious as the 10 year old next door playing Mario. Try harder.

Placebo is a thing and TN monitors tickle that concept all the time. The profit of 2-6ms is negligible on the latency of the entire pipeline. You're talking about a 10% gain at the very best versus a 'slow' (normal- TN used to be just as slow or worse, and yet, people played on those competitively for many years - yes even CS) IPS or VA - and the gap is getting smaller still. On top of that you're playing online and not over LAN like the real pro's do at events, so you're already looking at many other factors that will impact the experience and latency much more than a monitor ever will.

To each their own, but the fact remains TN is inferior and belongs in a niche as you say. And being niche means price gets inflated. There's no getting around that. The irony here is that TN is actually the cheapest display tech you can use. Fools and money are parted with barely measurable 'low latency' claims. And you're right, once seen, its hard to unsee, its how the mind works.

That doesn't even touch on the other facts with going ever higher in refresh rate: diminishing returns and an ever diminishing catalog of games actually able to run at that framerate, the higher you go. Anyway, we've been here before, we bash TN, get used to it

if it has an hdmi port you can use almost any monitor with xbox...

so yes, but if you have xbox one x you should get a 4k tv imo

but if you don't want that big... there are a lot of 27" 4K IPS screens for similar price as that Ben Q... you would be better offer with that...
