I didn't mean S939 was a dud. Indeed, that was the best one of the three sockets AMD had at the time. S940 was... not the best value for the price. S754 was marketed heavily enough for the first year of S939 and it wasn't clear which socket would win out. Basically a clusterfuck.Socket 939 was a dud? I guess my A64 Winchester and A64 X2 Venice that kicked Intel's ass were rubbish...
