HIS is ready with its Radeon RX 5700 XT IceQ X2 graphics card. The card combines a custom-design cooling solution with a PCB designed by Pine Group (XFX' parent company). It has the same exact PCB as the one the XFX RX 5700 XT THICC II comes with. The PCB is close-to-reference in design, with small changes near the power-connector area. It also features dual-BIOS. The card's cooling solution, too, resembles the XFX THICC II, with the exception for its shroud and back-plate design. The shroud and back-plate don't fuse over a metal extension like it does on the XFX card. The back-plate is dominated by a HIS "roaring lion" graphic. The card ticks at AMD-reference speeds of 1905 MHz boost and 14 Gbps (GDDR6-effective) memory. Like most other custom-design RX 5700-series graphics cards, this one will launch mid-August.

HIS...

I miss HIS at the western market... you've been up there HIS, what happened? Well... we know what happened. This wasn't your fault HIS, they couldn't make many competitive products.

I liked the blue accents on their cards though.
Oh yeah, their previous designs were also pretty decent, I was referring to the current stuff from ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte.

I probably will sell my 5700 XT on launch day for 5800 XT, don't really care about the loss. I refuse to ever go back to Nvidia's telemetry, even though they said the high CPU usage is fixed, they are doing some shady crap and I don't think they need telemetry at all, they didn't for several years of excellent gaming. So yeah, screw that.

Hey cool bro ! They bring out new tech without sharing and try to shine, alteast AMD comes clean with new innovations, nVidia always a bully imo but that's just me ;)

You do know it can be disabled, right?
Or if the Github is preferred;
I use it every time I update the drivers. Then I go directly delete the telemetry directories.

Though to be fair, NVidia's telemetry is purely for diagnostics. I've taken the logs apart and they contain no personal information, only data about device metrics.

well I haven't actually ordered my GPU yet, but I just am not sure I want to pay $80 more for barely an increase in performance over say something like 3 fan Gigabyte RX 5700 XT about to release. I'm leaning towards going all AMD cause 80 bucks saved, 5% performance loss, and I don't care about RTX.

I'm not trying to dissuade you from an AMD card because they are very compelling. Only trying to give some 411 about the telemetry. You know me, I'm super paranoid about that crap, which is why I delete it anyway.

Go with the HIS Ice model. It's easily the better of the two and the extra $40 is worth it.

Also, Welcome to the TPU forums! :toast::peace:

just make sure you have a return policy where you buy it, for a refund, in-case you don't like it. lot of driver issues have been reported, make sure you test a lot of games, make sure you are happy with it within 14 days of purchase.

There are always driver glitches, but he should be fine as most have been worked out.
